Was rather late when we arrived staff was friendly and helpful. Had 3 rooms booked for family.
No qualms at all.

Went here on a little night getaway and the place itself was very nice, with a spacious, cosy room. But I must say, Rachel, the receptionist, was absolutely amazing. She went out of her way to help us with everything we needed. Would definitely come back again!

We have stayed quite a few times this year already and will be staying again in August and September, bringing a few family members along too. This is an ideal location and the Manager, Rachael is always very accommodating and goes the extra mile to help in any way. The other staff are also very friendly and happy to help. Although there is no breakfast facility or Bar available, this does not bother us as we are able to eat elsewhere. We can't wait to return!!!

no hot water what so ever and was not told about this had a family of 2 adults and 2 kids just come back from the beach and wasnt able to shower, lift was out of order but we was told that prior to arriving. broken window in the room and no fan so room was hot, i went to reception 3 times to get a fan but the receptionist was to busy on his phone even thou he said he would bring 1 straight up. noisy rooms next door banging on doors woke up all my family and when telling reception they didnt care or even apologise and no discount was even offered

Very upset visiting this hotel. I feel so sorry for the manager. The hotel has been allowed to deteriorate rapidly since our last visit. There is no food or bar, the lovely terrace and gardens are a wilderness and the hotel rooms although clean are falling to bits with no maintenance being completed. H&H hotels rather than do this, sell the hotel so visitors can enjoy this beautiful building once again. We used to love staying here

What a beautiful building, the lady on reception was so attentive and was everything you could ask for in terms of service. She seemed to really care about the hotel and told us about all the exciting plans they have for it. She told us all the best places to explore. And most importantly how welcoming she was to our little puppy. For the price this place is perfect with lots of little bars and pubs to eat and drink at. All in all a perfect weekend away after a 5 and a half hour drive down from Skipton. The perfect first family holiday ! - Evan, Vivien & Simba

£100 and bank cards STOLEN from room. Filthy rooms. No hot water. Drainage blocked. Rude staff and shock no cameras to catch the thief. After speaking to locals this happens a lot there and constantly have people walking out and complaining. I don’t know how there are so many positive reviews as this place is awful! This hotel is so crummy and dilapidated that it is only a matter of time until it is used to house immigrants seeking asylum; after all, the strict Bradford-based proprietor will be only too happy to get a guaranteed above-market rent as he’s currently only running the place down for cash. Lynton, you have been warned!
