Homewood Suites by Hilton Lynnwood Seattle Everett

My recent stay at your Homewood Suites fell far short of the Hilton brand's standards. I checked in and typically greeted and recognized as a Gold Member with a welcome bottle of water. On Friday morning at 9:14 AM, I called the front desk to request a replacement iron because the one in my room leaked water. At 10:00 AM, I still hadn't received it, so I stopped by the front desk as I departed the hotel to remind them of my request. I also informed them that the bathtub drained very slowly and needed maintenance. When I returned to my room Friday evening, the tub drain problem was still unresolved. Upon checking out Saturday morning, the front desk attendant asked how my stay was. I told her there was a lot to be desired. Her response? "Well, I hope it’s better next time." Next time? There won’t be a next time. While the staff was friendly, their inefficiency and lack of follow-through clearly reflect poor leadership and management at the hotel.

Recent stay for a few days. Check-in very efficient. Only a few parking spaces in front but large parking lot in back and on southside of building with easy access to rooms. Also, easy access to 405 and 5 highways. Major shopping center a couple blocks away. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had an issue with one piece of equipment and it was immediately handled after we spoke to the desk. Room had a small kitchen area, a plus. However, the layout and furniture in the room is quite odd. Specifics: 1. Only a small table to eat at by kitchen and only one chair. 2. TV faces an area where there are no chairs, couches or bed- as a result we turned it on briefly once. 3. The bathroom and shower room are immediately adjacent to bed at pillow level. No door to the sink area so anyone using any part of bathroom has to turn light on and wake up anyone still in bed. 4. Doors slam easily- we were awoken when our neighbor returned to their room at 2:11 AM by their door slam. Breakfast is included and coffee is available in the lobby all day. Breakfast items are a bit odd but edible. This hotel does have long-term tenants residing in hotel rooms as a person in our party recognized two families who had been present when they stayed here five months before.

Stayed here whilst working nearby, lots of shops and restaurants located nearby. Ample parking, room was clean and large. Breakfast as expected of a homeward suite. There is a Target literally next door and a Costco very nearby too, would stay here again if work brought me this way again

I'm a diamond member. I am in many hotels- in the Hilton family. Homewood is a preferred brand. This was a poor experience. One spoon in the suite (no other silverware), 5 hangers in the closet, poor lighting in the bathroom, barely any counter space at the bathroom sink, and a minimum amount of storage area in the tiny dresser under the TV (with very narrow drawers). The shower curtain bar is too small for the shower rod and fell down. When we called for housekeeping that day to repair it we were told that housekeeping was busy for the day but could come the next day. When I asked for maintenance to repair it, we were told that they wouldn't be in until 2pm. I said that would be fine-- but they never arrived. We lodged the bar back temporarily but it was too high to prevent water from pouring onto the bathroom floor so needed to use bathroom towels to prevent water from going all over the place.

Location is good because it’s close to so many shops and mall only walking distance The staff are very friendly and helpful The breakfast not so good very very limited choice The room I stayed in was very smelly and the noise from the road was loud

Not very knowledgeable front desk, room was in need of updating. No skirt around boxsprings like we were in a college dorm, sagging bed, no internet that worked over 2 days, only worked 5 minutes. Tried to get help from the front desk, had ME call their provider, never did get through after being on the phone for 45 minutes. Couldn’t even get a folio when we checked out, didn’t know how to get it correct. They emailed the next day. Stayed at multiple Homewood suites all over the west and they are great, except for this one.

It was a comfortable place to stay in an easily accessible location. Everything was booked in the Seattle area that weekend so we were just lucky to get a room. We were there because an emergency home repair forced us to take a Stay-cation rather than watching girls play soccer or going to Taylor Swift concert or a Mariners Game like many other people there were doing. We always pick Hilton brand hotels because the beds are consistently comfortable. For some reason, the king bed at the Homewood Suites was noticeably smaller than the king bed at the Hampton Inn we stayed at the day before. It was even narrower than our Cal King at home. Be aware that they have a shortage of Down-alternative pillows so if you don’t want to sleep on feathers you should bring your own pillows. We both slept great though since it was so peaceful where we were on the 5th floor facing the backside of the World Market shopping center. The air conditioning was very quiet too! We didn’t need the kitchen especially since they provided breakfast downstairs. I was impressed that it included fruits and vegetables so there was something for everyone no matter what your diet plan is. We have one complaint and that was the shower door on room 532 did not close adequately. We had to use the shower with the door only 2/3rds of the way closed. The only real annoyance is that suites only have one chair. They finally found us a spare chair when asked. It is hard to play a game or eat a meal if there aren't enough chairs for two people to sit at the table. It didn’t bother me that we had to pay separately for parking. It discourages people from sleeping in their cars or loitering in the parking lot. In my opinion, the free breakfast made up for paying for parking.
