We received a very warm welcome and the whole team of staff could not have been more helpful and friendly throughout our four day stay. Food was extremely good, well presented and promptly served. Our room was clean, quiet and well-equipped. The high street is a 200 yard stroll away. Overall a relaxed and most enjoyable stay, appreciated by everyone in our group of eight. We’ll definitely go back.

Stayed for 5 nights in a basic double room , my dad had the same. The room was adequate, could do with a bit of updating, especially the carpet. However it was ok. Breakfast was nice with plenty of choice. However the jewel in the crown in The White Rabbit is definitely the staff. Very friendly and fantastic service, special mention to Bunny who was so helpful and chatty she makes you feel very welcome! All staff were great though!

Spent 3 nights here whilst working in the area, good job I’m pretty active as the room was up and down more stairs than any other hotel I’ve visited, the room was small and pokey with the only windows opening straight onto the kitchen extractor vents, the TV remote was missing and when I did get one I was given a remote with only one battery. The only lights in the room that worked are the bathroom light so to be able to see you had to have the bathroom light on and top it off, I came back to my room late, found the toilet to be blocked and when I called the night porter ( who was less than useless) I was told that there’s nothing that could be done, and I’d have to wait till morning! Not even an offer of a plunger or even a toilet brush. Wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The site was very nice, the food just above average. Service very good. The main issue was that there were only 2 disabled parking spaces and 1 of them was so over grown that it could not be used. The ramp was also very steep from the car park to the ramp proper.

Great food! Popped in with a friend and was served immediately. Food was lovely, service was great. It was bank holiday weekend and they were busy, but we were served very quickly and the food was lovely. We sat in the bar area and had a window seat which was lovely. Definitely recommend.

I am writing this review on behalf of my daughter Becky, her partner Joe and their girls. They stayed with you on Friday night 16th August. They want to express that there wasn’t anything they could fault with their stay with you. The menu was amazing and the breakfast was to die for. The room had everything you would want to have a wonderful night. Nothing was too much, as all staff were very accommodating. So they would like to say a massive thank you and they will definitely be back.

This is the second time we have stayed here. The location is great for access to the town and the Forest, as well as other options of places to eat. On this occasion we had a room at the far end of the hotel which was very spacious including a large seating area with views across the New Forest. The only complaint is the size of the bed which was a standard double. When we booked we had expected a king bed and given there was plenty of space for it in the room, we do not understand why hotels do not make the most of this offering. When you are used to a larger bed if really adversely affects sleep to revert back to a double and it will definitely make us think twice about booking here again. Such a shame as everything else was really good.

The pub and restaurant were good if a little tired but the food was excellent, but if you have mobility problems the first floor accomodation is not easy to get to as there is no lift. The room we had was comfortable but lacking simple things like bedside lights. The bathroom had limited shelving for washbags, and the shower door when open was too narrow for a larger person. The wash basin plug did not seal so water ran away during usage, and the plumbing to the toilet needs attention as it occasionally will not stop filling.

What a amazing hotel/ Bar. The staff are faultless and will go out of there way to make sure your time at the White Rabbit will leave you happy and relaxed and wanting you to return. We never single out a member staff for special praise but Bunny needs special praise as she fully understood or medical needs and ensured on our return our needs will be made. But all the staff will go out of their way to make sure you are well care for. This hotel is in a amazing spot just outside the village but only 5 mins walk away but it quite and away from the hum ding of the village, also it's ideally place to explore the New Forest. Overall we are looking forward to our return. Stu and Tony
