Set outside of Lymington, which is a 20 - 30 minute walk away. Large grounds with lawns. Outdoor pool. Children's play area. Tennis courts. Indoor pool in an separate complex that also houses the breakfast room. Both are not in keeping with the charm and style of the older main hotel. We had a bedroom in one of the outside 2-storey more modern self contained units. You have to walk outdoors to access them. Good size room. Comfortable bed. Bathroom with bath and seperate walk in shower. Heating was totally inadequate for the size of bedroom - just a very feeble electric warm air heater with no ability to increase / decrease the setting AND it kept cutting out. Would have frozen on a winter's evening! Food & drinks in the evening hotel was acceptable, but quite expensive. Breakfast in the "spa" building was self service and chaotic. Overall paying 4* prices for a 3* facility.

Everything was fine except catering staff could have been more polite and employees not using the outside pool when off work taking up limited spaces for paying guests

Beautiful location, the building looks lovely along with the grounds, the room was clean and well stocked, sauna was good and pool was lovely. Definitely recommend.

Laura Head Receptionist was brilliant - she couldn’t have been more helpful. Room was large and no complaints whatsoever. If I had a small negative it was the breakfast, I have had a lot better and to be honest expensive for what it was. ‘Trip’ you could only either have no breakfast or 2 breakfasts. Taking my 100 year old mother who could hardly manage 2 mouthfuls was expensive there was no option for 1 or child’s! But, overall a good hotel.

The spa facilities are extremely basic and I personally wouldn’t class it as a spa. The swimming pool is very dated and not particularly well maintained or clean. There were more children in the pool than adults. They were shrieking, splashing and jumping in making the experience not relaxing at all. Even after the children’s swimming time was supposed to end (11am) there were no staff in sight to enforce this so they carried on. The ‘jacuzzi’ in the corner ran for 5 minutes and then would turn off. To turn it back on, you have to climb out of the pool and switch it back on again. It’s not separate from the pool and is the same temperature (fairly cold). We had an Elemis facial which was very lovely and the relaxation room was peaceful and comfortable. We ended up spending the majority of our time in here. The afternoon tea was delicious although the restaurant where it was is dated and could do with refurbishment. Overall, if you don’t mind your relaxing spa day being tainted by shrieking children and being splashed in the sub par swimming pool, go ahead. Although, the spa staff, the treatments & the afternoon tea very nice.

We stayed at Elmers court for my wife's birthday, I thought the hotel in need of some maintenance, our room had some lights in the kitchenette reminiscent of the 1970's. The food menu in the main resturant somewhat uninspiring, we popped down the road and ate in the local pub The Spa is very dated, the gents changing room is in desparate need of an upgrade, and the lockers can be very temperamental, on a positive side the sauna looked new and very clean. On a positive I found the bed comfortable and I slept very well. All in all I think elmers court requires some investment

It's just not very good. I found the staff surly, scruffy, lacking in motovation and discontent. The grounds and rooms were almost falling to pieces. The breakfast was beyond bad and significantly worse than Premier Inn. It was all far too expensive. The gym was good (for a hotel) and the beds were very comfortable. The manager should not respond to this review suggesting he will investigate as he has with all other reviews. He should simply inform the owners that without a vast amount of investment the world will get wise to this very poor hotel and it'll go bust. I will not visit again.

We booked 2 nights dinner, bed and breakfast. Overall, it was OKish. The location was lovely, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed using the swimming pool and sauna. Our room was in purpose built outbuildings that were looking well used. However it was clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was sub-Premier Inn standard - not worth the £26 you'd pay to buy it as an extra. Dinner was good, but the deal is seriously misleading. We thought it was included in the price we paid, but what we got was a £30 credit - not enough for any but the cheapest of their main courses, let alone a second course.

A lovely short spa break: The hotel was charming and the spa treatments were super. Dinner was exceptionally nice and the staff were friendly and professional. The only downside was lack of aircon in our room (but I guess it was a heatwave so perhaps OK in a regular summer) and the indoor pool changing rooms had not been checked for cleanliness and were untidy.
