If your looking to get a room here DONT BOTHER! The staff where rood and snaky, leaving us at a locked gate while staff walked around inside egnooring us and not answering the phone (even though i had called ahead to make the. Aware we where coming as we had bags to store) Would have been nice to have been told there is a coded gate or youu wont be able to get in till 12. there was no communication and trying to get them the answer the phone is laughable. Even when we did get in because a staff member was returning with flowers she just said go in the building... WHERE!? We have never been here. Just dirty looks and snarky 'oh well u should have known' We ended up taking our bags and leaving without staying the night not that i think they cared noticed. Thanks so much for ruining our holiday and making customers feel worthless. 👍 TLDR : Apauling staff No customer service No parking Don't bother

A little gem of a property! Perfectly located less than a minute from the beach and the shops. Charming room, tastefully decorated with very comfortable bed. Immaculately clean. Friendly helpful staff. Super yummy English breakfast… best I’ve had in years!

Met friends for lunch, food was average and they had already run out of some roasts by 2pm. Staff were quite surly apart from 1 aussie girl who was lovely. stayed the night, room was comfy and clean and £150 for the night. Breakfast was really poor, the choice is english cooked, veggie version, vegan version or egg on toast. Cooked breakfast tasted and looked like it was cooked the day before, served and prepared by a bloke who seemed like we were keeping him from doing other things, shame really as its a nice place, just not run very well. breakfast needs more choices (fruit, cereals, toast and jam, juices, pastries). £150 room and a two bob breakfast. probably try somewhere else for the next meet up. Oh and the Palmers gold beer is like dishwater, avoid.

Lovely food, friendly service and great atmosphere. Good for food allergies and veggies too. The staff were helpful and advised on menu choices. The general atmosphere is very chilled and relaxing. The location is really handy and central as well. We will definitely be back.

Nice clean room ( tally ho ) with large bathroom twin sinks and big shower. Large TV and decent bed - nice touch to have a couple of beers and bottled water and milk on the house included in the room fridge - also a nespresso machine with a few capsules. Breakfast was large and included orange juice if i was being picky i'd say it would have been nicer with black pudding or at least the option but i suppose majority are not fans of that? Service was excellent - friendly and efficient. Location is spot on by the sea front - recommend a visit to the mill yard up coombe rd behind the hotel.

Came for drinks and chill Amazing service from the wonderful staff Saturday afternoon and busy but the girls were all accommodating with cocktails that weren’t on the menu Very friendly staff a credit to your business Kelsey if that’s how you spell it ? Great service all round If o hadn’t of booked food elsewhere I would of had it here as was I saw coming out looked really good 😊

Visited this lovely pub for lunch yesterday. What an amazing experience. Lots of very young members of Staff who were absolutely amazing. The management should be so proud of each and every one of them. Mind you the manager and the senior staff were equally amazing. Highly recommend you visit when in the area !!

Nice inside. Greeted eventually by an un interested guy got seated and waited and waited no one came to our table I had to go and find someone to get a drink ! Waitress obviously did not want to be there she came and took our order and did not write anything down and obviously our main meals arrived when we were waiting for a starter !! She kind of apologised and scurried off. Not really that impressed On the other hand the burgers are outstanding

Went for lunch and spent £104 on 4 roast dinners and 4 drinks. Wouldn’t have minded but after waiting for almost 1 hour for the food to arrive the roast dinners (all 4) were luke warm and not much on the plate. We had roast beef, 2 small slices, half a potato cut in half (2 roast potatoes) 3 slices of carrot, 1 slice of parsnip, red cabbage, cauliflower cheese, Yorkshire pudding. We did complain and they warmed the food up, but very disappointed with the amount and the fact it was almost cold. Waitress was very apologetic. Would not recommend this place for food.
