Premier Inn Swindon West (M4, J16)

The Beefeater was a nightmare for breakfast. Feral kids treating the place like a playground and nothing left. Staff overwhelmed and rude will not stop again because of this. Hotel is fine like any other Premier Inn

Team are really lovely, had a great stay will definetly be back. They had an option of cold squash downstairs which gave it a welcoming touch, rooms were very clean and staff very helpful. Best premier inn i’ve stayed in, definetly reccomend.

Lovely staff but it’s old tired and in need of decoration and renovation. Busy with RIAT and full. Beefeater next door was great, food good and good selection of beer. Staff lovely and attentive. Made up for a long day. Bed was clean and pretty much the room, although only an accessible room was available.

I wanted to praise a particular member of staff, Todd, the night receptionist. In the early hours of 20th July he had to deal with some problematic guests which he did with great efficiency.

Room was clean and tidy. Had to return to reception to get more towels. Bed comfortable. Needed some USB outlets in room. Restaurant very poor. Long wait to be seated. Waited over an hour for food to arrive which was lukewarm/cold. Fillet steak (£5 surcharge) was chewy and not cooked as requested. Vegetable burger was one slice of cold halloumi, one mushroom and half a tomato with cold chips. Complained to server whose response was "sorry about that" and then disappeared. Breakfast was little better. Rock hard, lukewarm fried eggs, cold mushrooms and congealed beans. Poached eggs not offered.

With a handy Beefeater next door, a convenient stop just off the M$, working aircon and a very comfortable bed, we could not ask for more. And the price was ok too!
