Bahia da Luz is a fantastic complex situated in a quaint town. About 5 minutes walk to the beach and restaurants.
Reception staff were friendly and helpful.

We stayed in a poolside apartment. Really spacious, comfortable and fully fitted with all you need. Two nice balconies. Good air con. Cleaning was good, twice a week. May have benefited from another day. Bed was slightly hard but OK. The bedroom is upstairs and they were quite steep. A handrail really is needed. Shower and bathroom good. It's a good location only ten minutes slow walk to beach and restaurants. Supermarket a bit further. Pool was lovely, very relaxing. They could do with more parasols as shade was scarce around the pool. There are a few steps to navigate around so probably not the easiest if you have mobility issues. The poolside restaurant is great for drinks, snacks, lunch and take aways. Luz is a lovely spot with a village vibe. Great restaurants and fab beach. All in all a wonderful holiday.

The whole complex is clean, calm and close to the beach. We had a two bedroom apartment which was fantastic. There is secure parking in the underground garage - our parking space was a bit awkward to get into (most of the others were fine), so we parked on the street/car park, which wasn’t a problem. The pool area was divided into adults only and family pools, both had lots of sun beds and varying shade throughout the day. Lunch at their restaurant was always good. Reception staff were really lovely, from check in, mid stay query and check out. The supermarket is a bit of a walk (10 mins), but on arrival there was water, milk, tea & coffee, which was great. Well stocked kitchen, pool towels and toiletries. We would be happy to return.

A great hotel in a great location. First time staying at Baia da Luz but will definitely be returning. Apartment very spacious with great outside space and very well equipped. Pool area lovely and the snack bar and staff all brilliant and very good value. Only slight issue was no lift leading to apartment from main entrance so had to carry pushchair upstairs but found a work around by entering via underground car park.

This was our second time visiting Baia da Luz and we loved it just as much as the first time. The accommodation is very spacious and clean, with a very well equipped kitchen. The balcony was very large also. It is a short walk to the beach / restaurants. The pool area is kept clean and the grounds in general are maintained to a high level. The restaurant onsite is very good value.

It is always good to be back at Baia da Luz. The environment is always good, the location is amazing, peaceful and relaxed, always clean and pleasant.

On the whole Baia da Luz is a well-run resort with excellent facilities. The buildings are well designed for privacy (we had a poolside apartment) and it was well-resourced. There were a couple of issues of building quality (the kitchen skirting board kept falling down and the light switch in one of the bedrooms kept coming away in our hands). The pools are fabulous. The staff are friendly and helpful. The restuarant and pool cafe/bar are also great - with smiley and efficient staff. Praia da Luz is a wonderful and scenic town with loads to offer. Definite recommend!
