Vilamar

Vilamar is ideal to relax, enjoy the nature and the sun. It can accommodate singles and couples from all ages, but also families. We have two pools (adults and children), a huge garden, a bar that serves snacks, cocktails and drinks. We have a souvenir shop and a library where books can be borrowed. There is a private car park, free of charge, just for our guests with video surveillance and there is free WI-FI access on the whole complex. Our rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, flatscreen TV, with satellite, radio and cable programs, free WI-FI, telephone, safe, fridge and a private bathroom with hairdryer and free toiletries/amenities. Vilamar is the perfect starting point for a road trip being precisely in the middle between the big urban centres to the East and the wild and natural areas to the West. Vilamar is in a Village in the surroundings of Lagos just 2 minutes away from the centre and the beach known as “Praia da Luz”. 10 minutes away from the centre of Lagos (the city of the Portuguese Discoveries, also famous by the beaches and grottos). And 20 to 30 minutes away from places like Portimão (the biggest city in the Algarve), Sagres (the southwest end of Europe), the West Coast (“Costa Vicentina”, famous for the wild beaches and surfers), Silves (the Moorish capital) and Monchique (where nature and culture come together, where you can find the highest point in the Algarve). At our Reception you can plan several different types of activities. From renting a vehicle (car, motorbike, bicycle) to booking a themed park like: Slide & Splash, Zoo de Lagos or Zoomarine. There are several golf courses and mini-golf courses in the near as well. You can do an incredible amount of ocean activities, such as: grotto trips, dolphin observation, parasailing, kayaking, several different types of surfing, fishing activities and an enormous amount of ocean fun rides like the banana or the flying fish. You can also rent a jet ski or a boat/yacht. There are also several different types of excursions available, like a jeep safari or bird watching, but also activities like biking or hiking, sunset tours and even ballooning!
