Stayed for 1 night in November as we were taking an early flight from Luton airport. Arrived at 8pm, parked in the Beefeater carpark, where the charge was clearly displayed as £6. When we checked into the hotel we were told to use the kiosk to pay for parking, which was charged at £9, despite the fact that the Premier Inn car park was full and we were unable to actually park in it. When we got into the hotel, the self check in kiosks were out of order, so we joined the queue to check in with the 1 receptionist. It look aprox. 10 minutes to get to the front of the queue. I said to the very nice lady that we were there to check into a double room. She said I'd booked a twin room. I found the booking confirmation email and said I'd definitely booked a double room. She then got a clipboard from under the desk to check, and confirmed that I had indeed booked a double room. We got to the room which was fine, usual Premier Inn. We realised there was no tea, so my husband went down to reception to get some. He got ready for bed as I had a shower. And realised there was 1 towel. He got dressed again and went down to reception to get another one. We were both ready for bed when I realised that the bedside light wasn't working. By this stage we weren't going to get dressed again to go down to reception again, so we reported it on check out. This meant that when I got up in the night to use the bathroom, there was no alternative but to put the main light on. Premier Inn send a email survey after a stay, which I completed, detailing the above. It also has a link to leave a Tripadvisor review, which I did. Interestingly, my first review was not added to Tripadvisor.
