This is by far the worst hotel ever. Booked a double room, its so tiny. The bed, soft and creaks. The bathroom, if you're tall, your knees will touch the door. Shower ok, just run it first. The walls are paper thin and can hear the conversation next door. Tv is high up and when in bed, you can't see all the picture. No food cos it's Sunday and close early. The pub looks quaint from the pics but false beams. The lady from the bar who took us to our room, was pleasant and friendly. I booked this cheap hotel because I thought it looked nice and had character, alas I was wrong.

1 night stay as a family
As a family we were visiting Luton for a funeral and needed a hotel for the night. We had 2 rooms and both were well appointed with bathroom, twins beds, tv, towels and bedding and coffee & tea making available. Check in was super easy and the price was good. Lots of parking in a lovely little village.

This is genuinely the worst accommodation I have ever stayed in. On arrival, we were asked to pay immediately, we then went in to the room and it was freezing, mouldy, with peeling wallpaper and a gazebo up against the window so very dark. The curtain linings were hanging down, the toilet seat was yellow and the shower/ wetroom had such terrible drainage that the water just puddled around the toilet. The bed was dreadful a tiny mattress topped with a lump of foam. Staff were inattentive at best but realistically just rude, blanking us at the bar and then serving locals who arrived after us, immediately. There was no one on reception when we left so we couldn’t raise our issues. Avoid at all costs!

Fantastic
Exactly what we needed, driving from Lancashire, before we went to the airport in the morning. The pub and restaurant are great too, particularly the selection and reasonable prices.
