If one is visiting Zambia and wants to experience Zambian hospitality that is more than an international style hotel that simply happens to be in Lusaka, then this certainly a place to choose. Staff are super friendly and SUPER helpful, even when booking agencies. have erred. The rooms are clean and well equipped, and have air-conditioning. One can eat either in the restaurant or in the lovely thatched roofed bar and prices are very reasonable. You must order something grilled over charcoal. The Lodge is also close to the airport, and a short walk from two shopping centres, each with a supermarket and a range of other shops.
