Skyland is in a beautiful location and right in the heart of Shenandoah. The food was good quality and the service in the restaurant was great. We enjoyed the entertainment on one of the nights we were there. The first room we had had a leaky roof from the torrential rain but we were immediately moved to a new room and upgraded. The upgraded room had a few more amenities and was much closer to the lodge. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating . The rooms could do with some updating and the beds really need replaced. It was like sleeping on a camp bed.

The hotel has beautiful scenery, you can stargaze at night, the facilities are old but the service is very warm
