Quality Inn

Overall convenient location. Room was clean. The pool looked clean and inviting. No free breakfast, they did have a restaurant for breakfast, which was reasonable and good. Only open breakfast hours. Right next door is a very good Italian restaurant.

I really liked my stay at the Quality Inn in Luray, VA. I had come down for a kayaking meetup event for the weekend. So, I booked for the weekend, 3 days/2 nights; the price was very reasonable, only $205 for the weekend. The room was spacious and nicely appointed. I had a comfy king-size bed with comfy pillows (5), desk, sitting chair with ottoman, miniature fridge, small microwave, and a large TV. The bathroom did not have a bathtub but only a standing shower, which I liked. I rarely use a bathtub anyways and prefer showers when traveling. It had good water pressure and the showerhead had several options that you could choose. After a long day kayaking on the Shenandoah river, a hot shower is priceless. :) There were large bottles of shampoo and conditioner attached to the shower wall while the body wash was attached near the sink. I wish the shower curtain was magnetized or stuck to the sides of the walls better cuz the water pressure was so good that it would actually take the curtain with it. lol. So, water did get out to the bathroom floor, but not too terribly. There was an iron/steamer, ironing board, and hair dryer that I didn't use. The attached restaurant was only open for breakfast from 6am-11am and it had its own menu. Hopefully, in the future, they'll serve lunch and dinner, too. I had a big breakfast and it was delicious. Pricing was similar to Bob Evan's but the portions were larger. It was such a huge breakfast that I had minimal lunch on the river..lol. The air conditioner worked great the first night, but the second night, it seemed like it was not working well. The room was warmer than the outside air at around 10pm. Then again, it had been a hot day, all-day. All in all, I liked my stay here and will probably stay here in the future when visiting the area for Luray Caverns and/or kayaking on the Shenandoah river.

The staff was polite and breakfast with our server Tammy was great. However I booked a non smoking room and not sure what was in the room but it was stale and my friend who has asthma couldn’t get rest much more fresh outside. Book somewhere else.

Stayed here for a weekend trip to Shenandoah, the hotel is basic and a little dated but was perfect for our needs! Room was clean, bed was comfortable, and it is a convenient location in Luray with a great Italian restaurant right next door that we walked over to for dinner one night. No free breakfast here, but there was a restaurant on site that we did not go to. We didn't check in until 10:30 Friday night, and while they did have the office door locked at that time, we were able to call the number on the door and the guy working came promptly and got us checked in. Good stay with no issues!

Very bed smell in the room

The property is ok. It was 2 levels with outside access to only. No elevator. No continental breakfast. The restaurant connected to it has good food, but it felt as if my family and I were outsiders or an inconvenience. Nobody smiled at us or welcomed us in. It was doable but I wouldn’t go back.
