The front desk staff were incredibly patient in answering all my questions and even assisted me in comparing different options to find the best value. My absolute favorite feature was the rocking chair on the room's balcony, where I loved to unwind and just 'zone out' every day. I never leave reviews but this little hotel is exceptional. It is conveniently located between key city landmarks, within walking distance of the imperial gate and the ancient old town — and a simple trip on the metro from the train station. Above all, the hotel is exceedingly peaceful. The rooms are designed largely in natural wood and soft, pale colors, with big windows letting in plenty of light. Mine looked out into a small courtyard, which echoed with the soothing sound of flowing water from what I assumed was a fountain underneath. A small window-side table with a lovely tea-set made for a perfect place to read and write; I would think this hotel would make a wonderful retreat for a writer, or someone simply hoping to get away, think, and sleep soundly. The staff were very kind and helpful and even brought breakfast to my room in the morning. I was sad to leave and would have stayed for longer if I did not have commitments elsewhere.
