Matkalla yhden yön yli
Varasin hotellihuoneen, huone ei ollut remontoidulta osalta joten hintakin hieman huokeampi. Aamupala kuului yöpymishintaan, mikä hyvä. Ympäristössä hyviä uimarantoja ja kiva kävellä. Kylpyläympäristössä tehdään uudistuksia ja puretaan vanhoja osia rakennuksista. Kylpylää en käyttänyt vaikka sis. hintaan. Kokemukseni yhdeltä yöltä ok...ei luksusta, mutta en hakenukaan sellaista.

We chose this spa hotel, because it was close to my childs camp location and close to a rogaining event held nearby. I had also visited this place as a child, when it had different owner. Compared to my childhood visit, the experience was better: most of the visitors were families with little children, not elderly like in the 90’s. There were nice activities for children (toddler pools, game room, bowling, mini golf and outside water adventure park) which were in good condition :) Only one long water slide though… Food was okay, but maybe a little bit pricey compared to the quality. There seemed to be staff shortage… on sunday one single person gave spa wristbands, and was also responsible of spa bar sales, as well as other downstairs customer service… service in the restaurant was faster on weekdays. The hotel was quite worn out but clean. Our loft was spacious and nice. Still it would be time to do a renovation, at least in the bathrooms - or maybe lower the prices.

The bathroom in the hotelroom was very dirty. Might be mold in the shower ( lot of black dots) no power plugs at the bed they were on the other side of the room. The food was ok but nothing i would come back for. No activities in the evening if you don’t count getting drunk. Won’t wisit again not worth it.

Pros: Great facilities for small children, including toddler pools in spa, playroom with a variety of activities, and outside play area. The lakeside view from our main building suite was really nice. Premium breakfast (included in the suite price) had peaceful atmosphere, friendly service, and the food was tasty. Cons: When checking in, I did not get any information about the above mentioned facilities. Playroom(s) or premium breakfast were not even mentioned although we traveled with two children. Our toddler didn’t have a towel set or potty in the room. I would expect these sort of things being in order especially when booking a suite. Air conditioning, if there was any, dis not work properly. Outside this visit I’d like to mention that I had to cancel our previous two-night visit due to our family falling ill. It was a discount price and was paid in advance. I understand the terms of booking but I still think the customer experience would have been greatly improved if we were offered alternative dates for staying or compensation for the second night.

Perheen kanssa oli mukavaa. Hotellin tilat on kyllä parhaat päivänsä nähnyt. Kaipaisi kunnostusta. Huone oli ylihinnoiteltu siihen nähden. Perheen kanssa viihdyttiin uimassa. Ravintolassa oli jokin sesonkidrinkki, mutta henkilökunta ei ollut perehtynyt sen valmistamiseen.

The spa really was the highlight of our trip even though it's quite small. Nice place to relax but suitable for families with kids as well. The outdoor pool is a bonus. Friendly staff, good food, clean and cozy rooms. Overall nice experience.
