A tastfully decorated hotel with comfortable rooms modestly but nicely furnished. Rooms clean, bright, offering a good sleep and a lovely view of the harbour. Parking was a stones throw down the street. Location in the midst of everything, the piers, museum, food, shops, and a walk around town making it very immersive in the town atmosphere. Our short visit here was very enjoyable, making us want to return someday. Front desk staff were very friendly. Still I thought a bit pricey. Even then, would consider Smugglers Cove for a future stay due to location and presentation.

A fantastic location for walking to the waterfront, restaurants and shops. A bit dated but comfortable and they do have an elevator. Due to the location parking at times can be a challenge. Had a hard time finding ice and no ice bucket in the room. However, Location, Location, Location

The room was in a building across the street from the one pictured online. It appeared to be more of a boarding house than a hotel. The view was a barbecue restaurant and a sliver of the waterfront. The carpet was dirty and the towels gray and thin. The staff made no effort to accommodate.

We spent $360 for one night here because of low supply and high demand. Our stay started by travelling around the block several times until a parking spot opened up on the street because they do not have their own parking. The reception was OK. The room was nice but dated with very old carpet. The AC and mini fridge worked good. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. We were on the third floor and hoped for a nice harbor view but the balcony overlooked the street which offered us street noise. It was hard to sleep in once the sun came up because they do not have blackout curtains. We could have opted to pay an additional $10 each to have a small breakfast but decided against that. There is no pool. It is located very close to the waterfront which is beautiful. We have stayed in many Holiday Inn Expresses and if there was one anywhere close we would have gone there for half the money with pool and breakfast included.

The room was ok but no more and disappointing as it was a sea facing superior booking. The whole hotel needs a serious sort out, it is cluttered, unrelated items abound throughout the public spaces. It is almost amateurish, and doesn't justify the level of charges they command. We decided against booking the night before for their breakfast and sorry, we will not be revisiting

This is an absolutely authentic inn right on the main street in Lunenburg. If you want something corporate and cookie-cutter, this isn’t for you. Each room is unique and simply work. It reminded us so much of the (late) Pioneer Inn in Lahaina, Maui, as it is built of wood and every space and hallway is different. Our room had a surprisingly large king bed. But I’m delaying on the real reason to stay there, which is the owner, Mr. Kim. He is FANTASTIC! Helpful, attentive, and hilarious. For example, he carried our friends’ bags upstairs. Who does that!?! As we had driven there and the inn has no parking lot, Mr. Kim had arranged for a spot just a few steps away. There is also a for-pay breakfast available. Just alert the front desk the evening before and, who else, Mr. Kim will be there the next morning at the time you desire to cook it. If you want “old Lunenburg,” look no farther than Smuggler’s Cove. If you are visiting in tourist season when the streets might be jammed, rest assured that there is a parking spot in front where you can register and offload your bags.

Stayed one night in June. Can’t beat the location within walking distance to the waterfront, stores and restaurants. Candace checked me in. We chatted and found out she lived in Hudiksvall Sweden for 25 years not that far from where my Dad grew up. The world truly is small. Thankfully there’s an elevator, so I didn’t have to lug my luggage up a flight of stairs. There was a mini fridge in my room and an AC unit. Room was quiet. For $10 you can have breakfast next door. Scrambled eggs, yogurt parfait and a homemade croissant. Great stay. Would stay again.

An ideal place to stay if you're visiting Lunenburg. Just a minute or so away from the waterfront and near all the shops and restaurants. Rooms are comfortable with fridge, air con etc and bed was fine for a night's stay.
