With its biblical roots, the word selah means, “Pause, stop, and listen” — and there’s no better place for it than this spacious, warm, and inviting cabin. Bright as the Georgia sunshine streaming through the windows, Selah is a cozy combination of modern and homely design and playful splashes of color… aka the perfect home base for you and your group. In the shadow of the Blue Ridge Mountains, with the Chestatee River carving through it, Dahlonega is quite possibly north Georgia’s most uniquely delightful town. Just 90 miles from Atlanta, in the heart of what the New York Times calls Georgia’s Wine Country, Dahlonega has something for everyone: outdoor adventure, visual and performing arts, culture, history, live music, and year-round entertainment at venues and seasonal festivals. Come find out for yourself why in 2023 Southern Living named Dahlonega “Georgia’s Best Small Town.” The cabin. There are “rental properties,” and then there’s Selah. Charming, roomy, and comfortable, this unique, colorful home is perfect for making indelible memories with the whole family or friend group. Sleep like a royal on luxuriously triple-sheeted beds; co-create culinary masterpieces in two fully outfitted kitchens then savor them inside or al fresco under the stars; tell stories late into the evening around the fire pits as night birds sing their songs; shoot pool or throw darts in the game room; cuddle up with a book in one of a dozen cozy nooks; enjoy a glass of local wine and the sound of the rushing river below from the screened in porch; throw a record on and boogie (or slow dance) the night away, or just… pause, stop, and listen. Very clean “home”. And I truly mean home. Not like the other houses the rest of the family stayed in for the weekend wedding. Their houses felt cold and empty. Whereas your home felt like home. Thank you. We loved it and hope to visit again.

I am home sick after leaving Selah! We absolutely loved this home! Everything was perfect; the home itself, everything that was provided, the decor, location, the yard/trails, etc. The main driveway is steep but doable; however, if you come in at the 190 mailbox there is no incline.

This was a great property for our group of 9 friends! We were able to all hang out together but there was plenty of room for people to have their own space. We especially loved the screened porch and the view from there. The kitchen was well equipped for us to cook multiple meals and the bed in the master bedroom was super comfortable!

Selah was the perfect location for a long weekend trip with friends! The home was clean and conveniently located for exploring Dahlonega and Cleveland. The kitchen was well stocked and the owners provided extra essentials like toilet paper, which is uncommon and appreciated. There was ample parking and lots of outside space, but be aware the driveway is very steep. Overall: a great place to stay! Would recommend and stay again.
