Good value for money. We stayed in a family room with separate compartments for children. There is a shopping mall opposite, which is perfect for simple shopping. There is a bus stop next to it and it is very convenient to get to downtown Mannheim. There is a river behind the hotel. Breakfast is relatively normal

Well located hotel, right next door to the Galerie Rhein shopping mall, and on the waterfront. In the summer this for sure will be busy with walkers and runners, but you can also do just the same as there is no fitness in the hotel. The lobby area is great for sitting, eating, reading, working in the evening (just as well, rooms are small) and also plenty of eating options around. Car parking is a touch frustrating - they have about 7 spaces and that’s it——I find €15 quite steep to park outside but never mind, more spaces are possible in the shopping mall next door, this is open from 0600- midnight and only 2 mts walk away so mot really an issues, it costs €12 through the hotel. It’s just a pain to carry the bags…. The hotel has a good evening meal menu, also plenty of options in the local area-..- All in all. A perfectly good hotel ….

Uncomplicated, modern accommodation in a central location. (+) Located directly on the Rein riverbank; next to bridge to Mannheim; cafes, restaurants are in walking distance, big shopping mall just across the street. Open, spacious, modern lobby with a bar that also serves as a breakfast room. Rooms are small but very clean, quiet, well ventilated and have nicely placed lighting around the bed and in the bathroom. Breakfast is simple but sufficient. The reception is open around the clock, arriving after midnight was no problem. The entrance is under video surveillance. Staff is friendly and helpful. (-) Parking is only possible for a fee in the garage opposite. Carpeting could be problematic for allergy sufferers.

It was a rather mediocre stay. Nothing too bad, but not a memorable experience either. The rooms are relatively new, but already a little worn. Some decisions regarding the furnishings were a bit strange. For example, the glass desk and bedside table just looked scratched and dirty when I entered the room. Although otherwise I had no reason to believe that the room had not been cleaned. The shower gel, which had a scent reminiscent of cheap children's candy, was also a bold choice. However, there is a real minus point for the mold in the bathroom. As is so often the case, if the windows cannot be fully opened, this quickly becomes an issue. The door frame to the bathroom was noticeably covered in spores. Otherwise there's not much to say. The bed was alright and I slept well. The breakfast buffet is plentiful, but consists mainly of the typical hotel items: pastries from the freezer, scrambled eggs made from powder etc. I guess MOXY is ok for a short stay.
