Una residenza storica in pieno centro e in un’ottima posizione. Ampia camera con arredi d’epoca dotata di frigo bar e di climatizzazione. La vista sulla facciata della Chiesa di San Michele vale l’intero soggiorno. Punti di debolezza: l’assenza di ascensore (i gradini di un palazzo storico sono impegnativi) e un servizio di ripristino della camera (cambio asciugamani e carta) superficiale. L’accoglienza e la gentilezza di Rachele sono un ulteriore punto di forza della struttura.

very friendly staff nice room but small nice bathroom a few steps here and there it's an old central building not well insulated you can hear noises otherwise ok good breakfast convenient for lucca you can go on foot windows not redone so noise comes in

We stayed at the ancient residence of the angel of Lucca yesterday. First I will list the good things and that is that the residence is located in the heart of Lucca, the rooms are large and tastefully furnished. The lady at the reception is kind and attentive! Now the negatives: unfortunately it is not specified anywhere that to get to the reception you have to climb three flights of high and steep stairs, 41 steps and for some rooms there are others! There is no mini bar in the room, if you drink water at night you have to bring it from outside! Neither the TV nor the WF worked. The sheets were clean but stained and with a small hole! The room being located right in the center is very noisy! Yesterday there were demonstrations in Lucca and there was a lot of brawling until 2.30am!

Bad hotel experience (?) which only has the beautiful view of the center of Lucca (very noisy until 3 in the morning): for the rest: no breakfast, rooms confined to the upper floors (for me and my sister on the fourth floor) with stairs high, without elevator (not reported by the site or by the elusive owner). Only one poor lady (not even help with suitcases) at the reception, second floor, where you can leave suitcases unchecked from 10 in the morning!!). Poorly organized bathroom for a 4 star. High and undeserved price

I had a confirmed booking. On arrival there was no answer on the phone. At the entry door there was a buzzer for reception. Again no answer so we had to find alternative accommodation. The hotel has refused to refund us, They say we did not show - we did but they wouldn't know that because there was no one there.
