Zur Eldenburg

Wir waren in der Eldenburg mit preisermäßigten TouriDat-Gutscheinen für 5 Tage bzw 4 Übernachtungen. Bereits im Vorfeld die telefonische und flexible Terminabsprache war freundlich und sehr entgegenkommend. Und genauso freundlich sind wir dort aufgenommen worden. Wir haben in jeder Beziehung keinen Unterschied bemerkt, dass wir "nicht vollzahlende Gutschein-Gäste" waren. - Das großzügige Haus liegt sehr schön gelegen mitten im Ort an einem schmucken Platz, Parkmöglichkeiten für das Auto sind gut erreichbar in der Nähe. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet, die Zimmer sind geräumig und freundlich-zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Das Bad hat alles, was man erwartet, hätte in unserem Fall aber etwas größer sein können. Viel wichtiger ist, dass wir uns herzlich aufgenommen gefühlt haben. Das gesamte Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich, entgegenkommend und sehr aufmerksam und es fehlte uns an nichts. Herausragend gut ist das Essen - auf der Speisekarte ist für jeden etwas zu finden, die Preise finden wir in dieser Zeit angemessen. Was man dafür bekommt, ist in jeder Beziehung seinen Preis wert; große Portionen, hübsch angerichtet und köstlich im Geschmack. Es macht Spaß, im Speisesaal zu sitzen und zu genießen. - Das Frühstücksbuffet ist ebenfalls sehr reichhaltig und frisch und täglich wechselnd und alles sehr wohlschmeckend, immer unter den Augen freundlich-aufmerksamen Personals, das stets zur Stelle ist, wenn es gebraucht wird. - Wir hatten jedenfalls eine richtig schöne Zeit, danken allen in der Eldenburg auch auf diesem Wege und können geben eine eindeutige Empfehlung ab, dieses Haus zu besuchen :o)))

Wir waren für 2 Nächte im Hotel zur Eldenburg. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich, das Hotel ist sauber, Zimmer fast schon zu groß für uns, Betten in Ordnung. Trotz Zentrumlage war es auch nicht laut. Ein Highlight war die supergute Küche. Wir haben 2x zu Abend im Hotel gegessen, und beide Male waren wir total zufrieden, Preis-Leistung einfach Spitze.

We ate there this evening, for the umpteenth time, because I wanted to give the restaurant a second chance after we were treated pretty badly there last summer, even though we made good money with 6 adults. I found the service there to be abysmal, but at first I thought it was supposed to be funny (?). Now we went again today, the service was a bit friendlier but still took some getting used to. Not at all unkind, they tried hard but still hectic and somehow not how you would want it to be. I have to say - the place was packed but then I only have to fill half as many tables so that the service is a bit more relaxed and you don't get the feeling that you're about to be run over. The waiter seemed the most relaxed and friendliest of all. The food - and I don't understand the great reviews at all - was again absolutely not convincing. That was really bad, the burger with a ready-made patty and the schnitzel far too greasy, the quality of the meat was terrible... and the side dish of fries... they were good but a measly portion compared to the schnitzel and burger. You immediately think a Polish owner... the dishes must taste good... spicy, well seasoned, but unfortunately we don't see it that way, the bruschetta is also not recommended, shouldn't it have garlic in it???? A Wildberry Lillet as an aperitif... you might as well order a Sprite, tastes the same! For two adults and a small child we paid around €100 with starters, main course and two drinks per person, which is not a small amount. The food arrived pretty quickly. That was fine. The children's play area is great!!! I really have to praise it very, very much. All in all, though, it's still not worth another visit.
