La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Lubbock Southwest

The hotel is a prime location, and the cost wasn’t bad. I did notice there was, I think oil drops splattered all over the inside of the windows in our room that had not been wiped off. We did ask for a roll in bed, which we did have to go downstairs to get, and push it up ourselves. We were all very disappointed because the pool does not open till 11 on Sundays, and that’s the same time as check out. We had a wrestling tournament the night we stayed in the hotel, which we checked into prior, but didn’t even get to lay down to sleep until 1:00a.m. We also heard that people above us stomping around for probably another hour and a half after we were in bed. I’ll give it a little below standard level, but not terrible.

We stayed for one night (Saturday). Check in was fast and personnel were friendly and professional. Our king room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Room was decent size and bathroom had a walk in shower. Bed and pillows were very comfortable - not too soft and not too hard. The hotel was very busy, but it was relatively quiet. The doors do slam shut hard. Elevators were the largest I have seen in a while at a chain hotel. Breakfast was typical fare - good enough to get you on the road and the room is rather large. The gentleman that was the breakfast room attendant kept everything stocked and tables cleaned. Check out was quick and easy, too. Seems to be in a safe area and restaurants are close by. Will stay here again when I am next in Lubbock.

Clean rooms and excellent breakfast. Our only complaint was the short toilet. I’ve had both knees replaced and next time I book there, I’ll be requesting a handicap room. They have taller toilets.

Rooms are pretty and staff is nice. Breakfast not great. If you have colored hair like pink or another fashion color I would not stay here because they charge you for sleeping. The dye I use does bleed as all fashion colors do and it is vegan washout brand. I just wash my pillow cases at home and they’re fine. Well I was charged for getting pink on their pillowcase $20. I’m not sure what I could have done except sleep on the floor. I would not come back to this hotel. I recommend they start telling all people with colored hair to bring their own pillow or warm them that they will be charged for sleeping.

Friday night we arrived at La Quinta and we were very pleased with the outside experience We noticed there was a pool that looked very clean the parking lot was clean everything outside the building was clean as soon as we walked in everything inside smelled clean everything looked clean professional customer service the front desk of a person that checked me out was very helpful and try to get me a reasonable price for the two nights that I stayed The breakfast was amazing the experience overall was just amazing The room was clean the bedding everything It's just amazing the shower was amazing as well
