La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Lubbock Southwest

The hotel is a prime location, and the cost wasn’t bad. I did notice there was, I think oil drops splattered all over the inside of the windows in our room that had not been wiped off. We did ask for a roll in bed, which we did have to go downstairs to get, and push it up ourselves. We were all very disappointed because the pool does not open till 11 on Sundays, and that’s the same time as check out. We had a wrestling tournament the night we stayed in the hotel, which we checked into prior, but didn’t even get to lay down to sleep until 1:00a.m. We also heard that people above us stomping around for probably another hour and a half after we were in bed. I’ll give it a little below standard level, but not terrible.

Pool is awesome and beautiful and kid friendly but the Hot tub had dead bugs and also had an odd smell but everyone was so friendly and professional we ordered pizza but couldn’t eat by the pool idk why but overall super clean and quiet will definitely come back

Great hotel! Best La Quinta we’ve stayed at. Rooms recently remodeled and very clean. Comfortable beds. We loved the ceiling fan! Great addition to a hotel room. Front desk employees were wonderful. Lauren was super friendly and helpful. We will be back again for another move in / move out college weekend or game day!

My experience and that of my guests was incredible. The rooms were immaculate, the desk staff were incredibly friendly, and the breakfast was very nice. I have stayed in hotels all over the country and I would choose this one every time. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed for one night (Saturday). Check in was fast and personnel were friendly and professional. Our king room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Room was decent size and bathroom had a walk in shower. Bed and pillows were very comfortable - not too soft and not too hard. The hotel was very busy, but it was relatively quiet. The doors do slam shut hard. Elevators were the largest I have seen in a while at a chain hotel. Breakfast was typical fare - good enough to get you on the road and the room is rather large. The gentleman that was the breakfast room attendant kept everything stocked and tables cleaned. Check out was quick and easy, too. Seems to be in a safe area and restaurants are close by. Will stay here again when I am next in Lubbock.
