Great location, friendly service. But, Room 606 was not worthy of assignment to customers at any price, much less at elevated prices: (1) when AC kicks on , it oscillates loudly and that wakes up any sound sleeper; (2) bathroom fan turned on without running and sounds like it is jammed with current flowing, and at other times randomly starts running with a very loud squeal until well after it gets up to operating speed; (3) TV remote has a missing power button, so that's ok for old-school customers who walk up to the TV to turn it on/off; (4) no maid service was provided on 1 of 3 days; (5) the room was dusty and dirty upon arrival - I squinted my eyes and pretended that was not the case. If my family had stayed in the room with me, we would have demanded another room on day of arrival - I was too busy and exhausted and put up with it. Management was notified at checkout, and indicated they would reach out to me, yet no response or status over 24 hours later. Reading many other reviews, the outdated rooms and equipment are a central feature of complaints on this site. Please lock down room 606 and place it in off-line status until you have it fixed properly. That's not too much to ask at these prices.

Absolutely loved it here. Will be returning my next trip to Lubbock. Beautiful hotel and absolutely love the breakfast and dinner at the hotel. Clean and Amazing customer service !! Also ran into Jackie and her crew very exceptional customer service from her and her team!

The staff was excellent. The atmosphere was comfortable and the food was delicious! I would recommend this hotel to anyone that comes through Lubbock. The view of Texas Tech and the stadium is definitely something to experience. I will be back!

This hotel is absolutely exceptional. It is in a great part of the city for tourist attraction as well as has the best service I’ve ever experienced. Food is served quick, hot, and with great flavor. Hotel is very well-maintained as well as very clean. I was serviced by a team member named Jackie, which is very knowledge, kind, and welcoming. She helped serve me and my concerns to make my family trip wonderful. 5 stars for me!

Booked a room for my wife and kids for two nights. Beds were comfy, but the rooms and rest of the hotel are starting to show their age. And it wasn’t particularly clean and numerous places had rust showing. At one time, this was THE place to stay in Lubbock. It is still in a very good location, but the unfortunately the quality no longer matches the price. Until it gets a major remodel, save money and stay elsewhere.

For the most part, the hotel is beautiful. However, three lights in my room didn’t work, the bathroom was not as clean as I had hoped…hair in the shower, etc. Staff are wonderful,but food is NOT good-either in the lounge or Pecan Grill. Unlikely to stay here again unless absolutely necessary.

I stayed here for a two-night business conference. The hotel and rooms are very much in need of some upgrades and maintenance. The hotel shows its age. I agree with numerous other reviews that this hotel was a very nice hotel in the past but needs to be remodeled and fixed up! I wish the managers would listen to the reviews and do so. The housekeeping was also subpar and needs to be addressed as well.
