I had no idea there was a hotel like this in the mountains.
The room was spacious, with two separate bedrooms, and very clean.

A very nice hotel, large and with many amenities. However, no one speaks English, and the breakfast was very poor. It wasn't replenished. We had to ask for everything: refilling the coffee machine, refilling food, etc. The cottages are nicely furnished and were perfect for the five of us. Laundry service was quick and free. There's a beautiful hiking trail to a tower on the Great Wall of China (from the wooden lookout), but they didn't have a map. After a good hour of walking, we came to a crossroads and went straight ahead instead of turning left. Unfortunately, that part was a dead end. Due to the heat and no good map or GPX file, we unfortunately had to walk back. If they had had a hiking map, we might have managed. We estimate the 8 km walk to take about 6 hours.

I checked into the hotel yesterday. The overall environment is good and it is very suitable for taking children to play. It is very close to the Jinshanling Great Wall. The hotel only provides four 350ml bottles of mineral water. You have to pay for more water. The breakfast ticket given by the front desk can be eaten before 11:30, but I went to have breakfast before 9 o'clock. There was very little food and few varieties of breakfast. The room I stayed in was clean, but the sofa was a bit dirty and there were centipedes in the room.
