This boutique hotel is very well located in the heart of Luang Prabang. It's very near the key attractions in the city but located on a quiet street making it tranquil and relaxing. We were greeted warmly and professionally on arrival, including a welcome drink. Check in was efficient and we were escorted to our rooms. The rooms, though quite small, are charming with comfortable beds, good air conditioning and wifi, a minibar, TV and decent desk/work station. The bathroom is well laid out and equipped. The room (which was on the second floor) also had a nice balcony with table and chairs. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and maintained and there's a swimming pool. Room service dinner was very reasonably priced, the food was delicious, and the service was friendly and professional. Breakfast in the restaurant was lovely with a nice range of western and Asian foods. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely return and recommend the hotel to others.

My partner and I had a wonderful time at Amantaka in December this year. The whole city has just bounced back from the pandemic so I had a little expectation when coming to Luang Prabang this year. However, everything at the resort was exceptional, from the moment we were greeted at the airport, to when we were warmly greeted by the members of staff as we arrive at the moment, and when we left the resort. The property was converted from a historic building but was very well maintained. It has a classic and subtle charm and feels very cosy and intimate. Don't forget to use the Bath House that with a private pool, steamed room and sauna. Thank you Amantaka team for exceptional hospitality and I will be back again!

I am a solo traveler in my 50s. Most hotels in Laos are small-scale. The staff are very friendly. Kuang Si Falls join van reservation 100,000,000 kip I booked a new motorcycle rental for 250,000 kip per day at the hotel. This hotel has a semi-basement, so if you book a cheap room, there is a high chance of being booked in the semi-basement. Even just idling at the table in front of the hotel seems emotional. Breakfast is plain bread and coffee. The location is good, with many shops nearby and close to the Mekong River (1 minute walk). Hmong Ahi Market is also close by (5 minutes walk). There is also a Miniso nearby, but it doesn't have many items. I bought sunscreen and a band next to the Miniso pharmacy. Currency cannot be exchanged at the hotel. The room is not that clean by Korean standards. Some complaints are covered up by the kindness of the staff.^^ It seems like a lot of European travelers stay here. Overall, I am satisfied with the price.

When our driver pulled up to the hotel by a rickety bridge over the river, we were a bit nervous as the hotel looks tiny from the outside. What we thought was the hotel was actually the lobby and the hotel is actually quite large and sprawling with buildings and bungalows scattered next to the river. The hotel has a lovely infinity pool by the river with a lounge chairs, beach towels and an affordable pool bar with snacks for sale. The rooms were spacious with large balconies. The toilet was by the front door so you had to exit the WC walk around the corner to the bathroom to wash your hands - sort of a weird set up, but did help in the morning for 2 people to get ready. This was the only hotel we stayed in with dual sinks and a long vanity so excellent for 2 travelers and a big plus! The shower was a walk in so east access. The hotel also has a restaurant where breakfast (included) is served in the morning. Unfortunately it was a buffet with limited options and the food that was supposed to be hot was always cold and unappetizing. The hotel uses tiny candles to try to keep the food warm but this method does not work at all. The hotel no longer has a shuttle to town which is a negative as you need to walk across a scary rickety bridge to get to town. The hotel does not have a gym which is a requirement, in my opinion, if you want to be a 5 star resort. My only other comment to management is to find a few better English speaking employees as we had difficulty communicating with staff. Yes we know we are in Laos and should learn to speak their language but I feel when you cater to tourists you need a few people in each area to speak the universal language for business. We did enjoy our stay and can recommend this hotel to others.

After reading the MENU, we felt that we didn't like it very much. It just means chartering a boat is fine. The attitude of the duty manager immediately changed drastically. Since the room was not ready at that time, We went out for a walk, When I came back, I happened to meet him enthusiastically sending away a group of white residents. See us come back for another dramatic face-changing, Turned around and said ”304, 305” to the front desk and walked away. The front desk is quite enthusiastic, Helped us send our luggage to the room, and gave a detailed introduction to the room, This is the first unpleasant experience in this hotel. Since his SPA is very famous in Luang Prabang, I booked a package with SPA when booking, When checking in, the front desk did not ask if an appointment was required. Then I remembered to make an appointment with the front desk, I was told that the appointment was over for the day, Because we will leave Luang Prabang at noon the next day, So I made an appointment until 9 o'clock in the morning the next day, In the end, he came to us that night and told us, It was full the next morning, Can only choose noon, So we don't have time to do this project, The front desk said that his authority was powerless, We can communicate with the manager the next day. We raised this issue with the manager when we checked out the next day (turns out the lady was the manager yesterday), She offered to give us a bottle of red wine, I feel that she is really obsessed with red wine, Although his family's wine selection is not bad, But this treatment is not satisfactory. We said we don't need this bottle of red wine, And we are two rooms, She also offered to take us to the train station as compensation. Due to time constraints, I don't want to be too entangled, can only agree. Before she left, she asked me for a photo of yesterday in the wine storage room, It turned out to be waiting here. When having breakfast in the morning, We are an unsolicited menu, After we sat down, two white men came to the next table, The same waiter delivered the menu enthusiastically, And kindly asked them how their day was, That flattering look made me feel a little sick. The female manager was also in the restaurant at the time, When the food is served, the whole face is expressionless, The sound of placing the plates is very loud. This should not be the quality of a hotel manager. In short, This hotel licks white very badly, I saw that many domestic residents had similar experiences in his home, Send it out to let everyone avoid the pit, His price and service are very mismatched, There are a lot of good hotels in Luang Prabang, There is really no need to spend money at his house to find happiness.

Mybanlao Hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The hospitality was exceptional, with a friendly and attentive staff eager to assist. The rooms were not only comfortable but also tastefully decorated, creating a cozy atmosphere. The hotel's amenities, including a well-maintained pool and a delightful restaurant, added to the overall enjoyable experience. Its central location made exploring the local attractions convenient. This was my first time in Luang Prabang and I was very satisfied with my stay at Lanxiang Boutique Hotel. The house is spacious and bright, the facilities are clean, and the oversized swimming pool is clean and hygienic. The staff are very warm and considerate, and the driver who picks up and drops off the airport is also excellent and very humane. Under the leadership of the front desk manager, all the staff serve the guests wholeheartedly, which is great!

It was a very comfortable stay. The room was clean. There was a view of the Mekong River from the balcony. The swimming pool was very clean. It was a pity that I didn't bring swimming trunks. The Chinese boss is very enthusiastic and generous, and he personally delivered it to the high-speed rail station.

This hotel is one of the best I have ever stayed in. Certainly the service was the best I’ve ever experienced. From the minute we arrived until the minute we left it was a fantastic experience. When we arrived we were checked in by Kampoot who was fantastic the whole week. He was always willing to stop and chat and help us with recommendations. Kampoot is a credit to this hotel. The location itself is perfect. With mountains either side and a view of the whole town. The pool is great to cool off in and the food at the pool was excellent. The pizza and pad gaprao were among our favourites. The breakfast had a great selection and the staff were all very attentive. Thongpan served us very well. The room was nice and clean and we had a good view. The only issue was the shower was a little on the hot side and when moved to cold it didn’t really have much power. But apart from this it was a fantastic stay and we would definitely come back. A big thank you also to Lovansinh also on the front desk. She was so friendly and polite. Also at the pool Boonsong and Sengdao looked after us very well all week.

It was my first time to go there and I was afraid of being in trouble. After reading the reviews, I was afraid of the inconvenience and only booked one night. In fact, I didn’t have to worry at all. The person in charge, Ah Hui, personally drove to pick me up, which made communication with the compatriots much smoother! After checking in, I stayed intermittently. The hotel facilities are very new and the staff are very enthusiastic. In particular, Ah Hui gave suggestions and arranged travel itineraries throughout the entire journey. The local driver he introduced was also very good👍 and fully met our needs. It was a perfect trip. We had a good impression of this city because of them and we will definitely come back!
