Great little guesthouse by the river, close to everything in town. Amazingly friendly staff and an excellent breakfast. Good value for money. Would definitely stay again.

Pros : 1. Staff friendly 2. Location nearby Num Khan River (a small river connecting with Mae Khong River), really quiet and good to rest. 3. Room with balcony make me feeling clam. Cons : 1. BF is very small (2 pieces of pancake, 3 egg menu, French toasted, small pieces of fruits, cafe) even you can demand more, there are none of salad, meat e.g. local fish, chicken, etc.) or protein dish. 2. Location 2 km far from the sight seeing area (not recommend to walk during day as Sun light is very hot and strong)

The hotel is located almost at the end of the alley, far from the main street and quiet; booked a terrace room for two nights, the terrace can see the river view and the iron bridge. (Made of iron so it is quite loud whenever a car passes by) There are many local small restaurants nearby, the family restaurant fried rice $2 dollars has been fried very well, and there are also small shops where you can buy daily groceries, conveniently located. The breakfast is indeed exquisite and rich, the room only has enough space to open a piece of luggage 🧳, just be mentally prepared. There was a male manager at the hotel who was very friendly, however another young male employee during checkin was very unfriendly, when moving luggage to the room, at the stairs he pushed my luggage to the room door with one hand and left!(maybe part The job didn't suit him, and maybe he had a very unhappy day, then every time I see him greeting other customers he's mean-mouthed...)

✅Advantages: High cost performance, good service attitude at the front desk, good morning, clean room, balcony, good view, river view. Air conditioning is still awesome. ❎Disadvantages: A little far from the night market, the palace, and the foreigner street, 15-20 minutes on foot, 5-6 minutes by taxi. In the room: no slippers and toiletries, poor quality toilet paper. The room is very small. 💟Suggestion: The baby who travels on a budget can go for it. I booked a twin room with a balcony for 💰185 (RMB, tax included).

We ended up staying an extra night at short notice, but it was great that it was cheap and included a delicious breakfast!

Very nice hotel with humane service and management. The boss is French. The breakfast was amazing. The staff helped us solve a lot of problems. There was a problem with the equipment on the first night, but it was solved immediately the next day. Traveling with my mother , she is also very satisfied~

Overall, everything is good. Breakfast is rich. I especially like the small balcony. Two guys at the front desk can communicate in English, and one can speak Chinese. They can provide chartered cars at affordable prices. The other waiters are also very nice, and the French owner and his wife are also nice. Will continue to stay next time. I wish drinks in the room were provided for free every day.

When I arrived in Luang Prabang, my first good mood started from this hotel. When I entered the hotel, I felt the original ecology I wanted. You can hear the crowing of roosters and see dogs and cats. It is very warm and cozy. Family style. The front desk clerk was very polite and enthusiastic, and helped us carry our luggage. The hotel is full of French style, exquisite and beautiful. The terrace in front of our room is right by the river. We can see various plants, banana leaves and the quiet river, as well as the village opposite. The only regret is that the hot water in the shower is not too hot and it is a bit noisy upstairs, but these can be ignored because the rich breakfast compensated us. It's a French breakfast.
