Villa Wanika

I stayed for 5 nights. It's a little old, but I didn't have any problems using it. The air conditioner works great. I was lucky to get a room directly behind the front desk, because I could get as much water as I wanted from the server next to the front desk. It's better to go early to get the croissants, bananas, oranges, and coffee for breakfast. Sometimes the bananas and oranges were out... On the day when the front desk staff was fluent in English, they were able to arrange round trip transportation to Kuang Si Falls and Pak Ou Cave, which was helpful. However, depending on the day and time, the staff may not be very fluent in Lao... The way the cleaning was done varied from day to day, and the number of cups and towels changed. They will give them to you if you ask. They provide soap, shampoo, and shower gel for washing your hands, but they do not provide toothbrushes or razors.
