Booked last minute to extend our break. Lovely warm welcome. The room was really spacious and comfortable as was the bathroom. We ate in the restaurant which we have done many times and all of the food was delicious. The pies are the best in the area! Friendly staff and great service in the restaurant. Great value. We will definitely return.

An excellent place to stay. We only did one night but will certainly go again. The room was lovely. Nice big bed and a lovely bathroom. Everything was very clean. The staff here are delightful. Well trained in customer service and always happy to help with a smile on their face. The buffet food was lovely, later on the fish and chips were excellent and a superb breakfast in the morning. All made with quality ingredients.

This was our first visit to the Pheasant Inn, just over an hour from home. We wanted a peaceful night away. On arriving we were shown to our room by a lovely lady. We were made to feel very welcome. The room was a good size, very clean, with a very comfortable bed. The en-suite facilities included the usual, but with an enormous shower! Very impressive. We then went for a few drinks in the bar. The warm and friendly atmosphere continued there. The food is second to none. Absolutely delicious! The cost of the meals are spot on. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. We will be back!

Wow, just wow. A great place to stay. Lovely rooms, very comfortable bed, amazingly friendly staff. Jackie is a brilliant breakfast host - and helpfully sorts any requests quickly and with great good humour.

We had a delicious meal in The Pheasant Inn on Saturday night. Eight of us got together for a lovely weekend catch up in Allithwaite and this family run restaurant and pub was perfect for us. The staff were friendly and had a great sense of humour! Food was excellent and I was delighted to be able to sample the local shrimps. Thanks very much for looking after us so well.
