Had a very pleasant stay,my room wasn`t quite ready when i arrived but that was no problem,however the receptionist gave me a free upgrade into another room which was a nice surprise.The room was very nice,comfy bed & a lovely bathroom too,all in all it was just perfect !!!!

We visited the Guide Post hotel for my daughter’s wedding party. Lynsey was the host planner and she was really helpful. The price was very reasonable and included the DJ and food. All the staff without exception were amazing, helpful, polite and pleasant which makes a pleasant change. They are a credit to this hotel. We had a brilliant party and would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to book a wedding or any other type of party. Bedrooms were standard fare for a major chain but were visited on one of the hottest days of the year so the bedrooms were quite uncomfortable for sleeping with no air conditioning. Breakfast had a good choice of continental and cooked. Overall would definitely recommend this hotel if you are visiting the area.

Just had a two night stay for a wedding . We had a suite booked. I found the little dressing room very useful . The manager was very helpful and brought us a couple of fans . The room was incredibly hot . I think the whole country was suffering as the temp was about 28 . A member of staff that really stood out was Jodie . She was lovely . Incredibly helpful , nothing was too much trouble .

Great checkin/out really cheerful night manager Collin 👍. Great customer service from everyone particularly Alice who looked after me and my colleague brilliantly WELL DONE Alice. Food was great and a good menu. Clean and tidy establishment. Great Job BW
