Just returned from 10 days half board at the Excelsior. Booked a single room with limited see view but delighted to be allocated a double room overlooking the whole bay on the 7th floor. All facilities consistently clean and tidy, buffet lunch and breakfast always plentiful and varied. Sunbeds reserved daily despite signs telling patrons not to but always managed to find a bed when we wanted one. pool area could get rather noisy as we were in the European school holidays which we had not thought about. Staff have excellent English and always helpful and polite. No complaints here

This small but nice apartment is a special gem - the terrace with a view of the sea and Rijeka is great! Great location, friendly landlords and Lovran as a nice place and a good base for excursions, swimming and hiking.

Very nice, air-conditioned cottage with beautiful grounds, fenced all around for travellers with medium to large dogs. View of the Adriatic Sea is guaranteed. Not far from the centre and the sea in a few minutes walk.
