The Hotel Villa Vera is an excellent spot in Lovran, close to both the long coastal path and the town for restaurants. The pathway leads all the way the beautiful Rijeka Gulf, pass numerous harbours, coffee shops and bars/restaurants for snacks. The hotel offers an excellent cold breakfast selection and cooked to order options as well. Very good, and the lady we saw was friendly and welcoming. The pool was a nice option after a long walk, and our room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the gardens below. Lovran offers some lovely old villas and excellent places to eat, and we were keen to get out and about, so we did not eat in the hotel restaurant. However, it was a great spot to base ourselves for a couple of days.

Hotel is a lovely family run hotel the rooms are large and very clean. The sea is very close through a pretty park. The owner of the hotel is very accommodating and welcoming with a welcome drink on arrival. There is a large swimming pool and sauna.

Absolutely brilliant service. Our room, 403, exceeded all expectations and we cannot fault this place. This was our hotel for the final two nights of an Inn Travel walking holiday. We decided to enjoy a day off and just relax by the sea on our last day. We were on a bed and breakfast basis and ate out both nights. I really cannot commend the service we received more highly and this is not something I do lightly.

Abbiamo trascorso 9 giorni a Villa Vera ,un albergo molto bello, ricco di fascino, a pochi passi dal mare e dalla famosa passeggiata che da Lovran porta a Volosko ricca di storia e di scorci sulla baia. L'ampia camera, da noi scelta, era fantastica, ben arredata e con un grande terrazzo coperto con una magnifica vista sul golfo . La pulizia regna sovrana ovunque e gli ambienti sono curatissimi. Il plus è sicuramente la grande piscina coperta riscaldata che noi abbiamo utilizzato con grande piacere ogni pomeriggio. La colazione è ottima e molto varia. Da sottolineare il tempo e la passione che la proprietaria, sempre con il sorriso, dedica ad ogni ospite. Con la speranza di rivederci presto, grazie di cuore per l'ospitalità. Graziella e Rolando

We only stayed there for one night on our way to Zagreb but I would gladly go back to spend a holiday in it. Clean and very spacious room, fantastic treatment and great facilities we didn't have time to enjoy because of lack of time.

Wonderful place, family owned and operated, the owners do care about their guests, breakfast leves no wishes open, hotel is very clean & tidy which includes the room services, ＞ 5 minutes walk to the sea/public beach, convenient walk to Lovran City Center takes about 10 minutes, bus station conveniently loacted near the hotel to Opatija ( bus departs approx. every 30 minutes and trip takes about 20 minutes). Hotel Vera is fully recommendable,

Fantastic stay at Villa Vera - simple elegance, large rooms, huge bathrooms and welcome terrace. Two minutes from the sea but set amongst lovely gardens and shady park. Such a warm welcome from staff- from the moment we arrived till the last coffee before transfer. Spotlessly clean, wholesome breakfast buffet and always service with a smile. Perfectly located to explore Lovran or just chill out in the gorgeous pool area! Thank you Hotel Villa Vera for a lovely stay
