Orchard House B&B

Absolutely fabulous! We found ourselves in Lovingston on a Saturday night with nowhere to stay. The wonderful hosts accommodated us on practically no notice. The already lovely house is being refurbished by the new owners and breakfast alone is reason enough to visit! Delightful hosts, clean and comfortable rooms. We'll be going back.

Sarah is an amazing hostess and breakfast chef! Her farm and home are gorgeous with Mountain Views. Sarah was helpful in telling me about area attractions and places to visit. Our room was beautiful and I had the best night rest I had in a very long time. We truly enjoyed our stay and plan on going back!

This place is sooooo charming and the breakfast was to die for! You really can’t beat it! My husband and I took our coffee and sat out on the porch every morning, overlooking the grounds as the sun was coming up through the trees and it was so calming and relaxing!! As a side note, I love to renovate our home so I chatted with Sarah (the gal who runs it now) about how she and her husband Caleb have plans to renovate each of the existing rooms - one by one - and they were already working on the first one and it was looking sooooo beautiful! It made me even more excited to book a trip to come back and see what they’ve done! If you’re coming through Lovingston or looking for a nice little getaway, look no further! We loved our stay here!!

All I can say is WOW! What a lovely bed and breakfast. I stayed in the smaller house on the property with some friends. The new owner, Lisa, is absolutely fantastic. We really enjoyed the cider and wine tastings in the new barn. The breakfast was delicious. Her hospitality is top notch and I can’t wait to visit again!

Thankful for such a beautiful get away as Orchard House Bed and Breakfast. Right off the highway, but you can relax on the large front porch and feel like your in the country. The breakfast was tasty and made even better when the owner, Lisa, offered to serve us on the front porch. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated, with comfortable beds. The Lynch family are working very hard at making this a special destination. Lisa was only a phone call away to answer questions. She made our trip the best and we plan to return to this wonderful escape.

First of all, prior to my arrival, I had left several messages a month before arrival so I could get some information on the spa package I had purchased but no one returned my phone call. I got a phone call a day prior just to find out that there are new owners. I booked the Bed and Breakfast because of the reviews and chef breakfast. The first morning, I had asked if we could have our breakfast at 8:00 am. The owner accommodated but you could tell that she was not happy having to get up early to make us breakfast. When I asked if we could have breakfast again at 8:00, she said no and proceeded to tell me that she accommodated the day before but that is not common and that her son was playing in a football game so it was going to be a long night for her. The website clearly says breakfast is served between 8:30-9:30 but we weren’t offered any alternatives or even a to-go box. So FYI apparently breakfast is at 9:30 am. 2. My room was given 2 towels for 2 people for 4 days and one toilet paper roll. I texted her for extra towels. Crickets! I never heard from her so I had to find a towel to use. Because there wasn’t any breakfast, decided to heat up a pie in the guest microwave near the kitchen. When I opened up the microwave door, there was food that was in there for awhile with about 13 gnats. It was very disgusting. Also, she does not live on the property so it is like staying at a hotel without a manager or staying in an Airbnb. You will not get the hospitality and that personal touch that you may be looking for in a Bed and Breakfast.
