This is not a bad review ,,, but
First, the staff were all very helpful and pleasant. The place was clean. The bed was comfortable.
You must understand this place was built over 120 years ago - it still has some of that charm, and the rest seems to have been updated piecemeal, as the need has arisen.
So far, so as expected. But the restaurant hours are a little bizarre - they basically don't serve evening meals. OK, there are plenty of places in Louth, I suppose - weather permitting.
But watch out for the shower tap that comes off in your hand, or the broken flush on the toilet.
I guess you could say the place is packed with eccentric charm, but you know what? I may even risk another stay!
