Amazing place, amazing friendly attentive staff, great location for exploring the island. Even in peak season it appeared quiet, calm, relaxed and chilled. Breakfast was wonderful with special mention the the staff. Enjoyed the gym, cinema and other facilities.

Gorgeous hotel in a stunning area of Kefalonia. The staff are wonderful and the hotel facilities are excellent. The breakfast is fantastic -we loaded up every day before taking a wee stroll down to the beautiful beach, where you can have drinks, smoothies, and food brought straight to your sunlounger by the lovely team. Our room was the standard smaller size, but the interiors and layout were excellent. The food and drinks are on the expensive side, but everything was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Honestly, I don’t get the negative reviews. Some people come across as a bit entitled - not enjoying lovely things anymore due to money I suspect. I actually feel a bit sorry for them; it’s a shame they put that kind of negativity on a hotel that’s doing such an excellent job!!

Positiv: - großzügige schöne Zimmer mit großem Bett - Tolle Anlage und tolles Personal - Gutes Frühstück Negativ: - zu kleine Pools, zu wenig Schatten - Cocktails nicht gut und überteuert; Hauswein schmeckt nicht Zimmer: sehr schön, in erdfarben gehalten, sehr sauber, Steinfußboden (uneben), offene Dusche; sehr hell; sehr bequemes, großes Bett Location: oben im Berg mit tollem Blick; zum Strand muss man einen steilen Weg runter oder lässt sich mit dem golfcart fahren; drumherum sind einige Tavernen/Restaurants, in denen man aber fast immer reservieren oder teilweise über 30 min warten muss; ansonsten ist direkt in der Umgebung nicht viel; es gibt aber ein Open air Kino, das zum Hotel gehört Pool-Bereich: optisch sehr schön (darauf wird insgesamt sehr viel Wert gelegt), aber wenig Schatten /Schirme und sehr kleine Pools. Um sich mal kurz abzukühlen ok, aber um wirklich mal zu schwimmen leider zu klein. Drumherum stehen auch sehr viele Sonnenliegen und die Tische für Frühstück/Lunch/Dinner gucken auch direkt auf den Pool, sodass man die ganze Zeit das Gefühl hat, beim schwimmen von allen beobachtet zu werden. Ich persönlich hab mich nicht wohl gefühlt beim schwimmen. Es wirkt alles zu eng und gedrungen - trotz des Ausblicks; die Pools sind einfach zu klein für die Anzahl der Gäste Personal: wirklich sehr freundlich und bemüht! Toll! Hier gibt es nichts zu verbessern Frühstück: sehr leckeres a la carte Frühstück; auf Sonderwünsche wurde auch eingegangen. Toller Blick Cocktails/Wein: Cocktails waren ganz ok, aber wirklich nicht sehr gut; der Preis allerdings ist im Vergleich zu den anderen Hotels in unserem Urlaub sehr hoch (17 EUR für einen Pornstar Martini, bei dem das Glas nicht voll war; der Frozen Daiquiry war leider nicht Frozen); Flasche Sancerre 90 EUR; die Weinauswahl ist begrenzt; der F Zeen Wein (sowohl der Weiße als auch der Rosé schmecken wirklich gar nicht!) Insgesamt ein gutes Hotel; leider ist nicht viel drumherum; ein Punkt Abzug aufgrund der genannten Negativpunkte

We stayed at the Hotel Kefalonia for a week and had booked a "top retail" room, which we liked immediately at check-in - just like in the photos. Unfortunately, the joy was short-lived: On the first evening, the room was suddenly full of flying ants, which came from a visibly damaged wooden area. The room was uninhabitable, it was sprayed and we had to move late in the evening to another room. However, the spare room was in a very poor hygienic condition - extremely dirty, especially the jacuzzi and the filter area. Unfortunately, the online pictures no longer correspond to the current state. The next day the hotel was accommodating and offered us a villa with a pool, in which we were also satisfied. Nevertheless, this villa was not really worth the money - the view was limited (e.g. Electricity cabin next door), the way to restaurant, pool and beach is far and only easily accessible with golf karts. The facility itself is well maintained, the staff usually friendly. However, the beach area disappointed us: small, crowded, right on a street with parked cars. Unfortunately, there is a lack of privacy and charm. Also, the fact that the hotel manager did not say goodbye at check-out or inquire about our stay was disappointing and unprofessional. Overall: A hotel with potential, but currently definitely too expensive for what is offered. Urgent investment should be made in cleanliness, service and infrastructure.

At first we had a hard time finding the most suitable resort for us in all of Greece. once this resort popped up we were excited. but none of the reviews or pictures prepared us for what was to come. It's a spectacular hotel! the Room was amazing. We had a RAW superior room. very private and secluded. the greenery was full of variety and the access to the beach was fantastic. It is a really hidden gem. Online one doesnt see enough what the hotel has to offer. it's a really sport and health focused resort. various classes are offered. a state of the art fitness facility with amazing views. We will for sure come back! thank you
