The lady at the check-in desk was very rude and kind of destroyed the experience (ironically, her title was "guest experience maker"). The room and breakfast were nice.

Staff was very friendly. Bed was comfortable. Clean. Great price. Would stay again. Pool looked nice did not get in myself. Breakfast was what you would expect, just ok.

We have chosen your hotel based on a recommendation. We stayed 5 days and the room was not cleaned once , even though we asked several times , our requests were ignored. We had to constantly ask for clean towels and the trash bins in our room were overflowing. This is not acceptable at all , we were provided the managers email and we never got a response after sending several emails. The staff could not help us all they are instructed to do is to to provide the managers's email if they receive a complaint. We traveled all the way from Germany to attend a family event and this was not a pleasant hotel stay. Avoid this hotel at any cost. There are other better options in the area.

I'm submitting this review to express my extreme disappointment with a recent stay at this Windham property June 8-11, 2025. The highlight of my stay was the check-in! Goes downhill from there. If there were more positive aspects of my visit I would give credit where credit was due. Upon unpacking my stuff I was going to do some work. Found out the light on the desk didn't work. Neither did the outlets I was going to use to charge my computer and phone. Made notes on those items and dropped them at the front desk Monday morning.I asked for an additional bar of soap as the tiny bars you provide are useless. Also asked for an additional roll of toilet paper as the one in the room was about 75% used. Returned later Monday afternoon, I saw the light had been fixed and the outlets were charging. Unfortunately, the TV was not working. Two of your staff did their best to rectify the situation to no avail. The TV only worked if the lights in the entryway of the room were turned on. Hard to enjoy TV if all the lights are on. They couldn't figure it out. They did their best. I was moved to room #238.Lights worked and the TV worked but volume control on the remote didn't work. Only one louder volume which is ok for daytime but too loud at night. No other rooms were available and it was too late to find another hotel. Woke up next morning and went to use the bathroom. Unfortunately, it was clogged! Went to the front desk and was told that maintenance wouldn't be in until 9AM. I was there shortly after 8 and was given a plunger to take care of it myself. First time I ever had to plunge the toilet in a room I'm paying for! On the way back to my room I saw overflowing garbage bins, bags of food outside rooms not picked up and a general mess. I have some pictures showing the messs. Your "gym" it's not really a gym. Two treadmills, two ellipticals, two recumbent bikes. The TV on the wall wasn't working. No water in the cooler. No cups. No wipes for the machines. I saw one woman come in and get on a recumbent bike in her bathrobe! That was something you don't see every day. Nor do you need to! The physical condition of the hotel is poor. Many patches covering bad paint, faulty electrical work, or a lack of pride by staff or sub-contractors hired to do quality work. The empty pool is disgustingly filthy and looks like it hasn't been open for years. Conclusions: 1. Either the franchisee and/or La Quinta are hiring badly, not filling open positions, not offering adequate training, holding no one accountable, and/or the people being hired don't care. Maybe your guests are not providing feedback. Corporate Wyndham is not setting high enough expectations for their franchisees or they don't have people physically checking their properties. I've tried several times to reach either the GM or the Assistant GM at the hotel via email and phone messages. It's almost a month later and no replies to my messages. Derek and Donny and your Assistant GM did their best

Very comfortable room. Very clean. Beautiful pool area, but the pool was empty. Breakfast needs improvement. Basically toast, yogurt or waffles. Staff was very friendly.
