It’s a location that I’ve passed 100 times driving from mid MO the Chicago area. My kids even had a roadside lunch at one of their picnic tables by the riverside.
The clerk or mgr or owner that checked me in could not have been nicer. Demeanor and action.
Room was surprising. The exterior looks slum, but the room was nice. No funny smells, ok beds and size. HVAC was quiet. Bathroom bright and recently updated. The room was very nice.
