Hampton Inn by Hilton Zion Crossroads Gordonsville

I did not stay at this hotel overnight. The front desk attendant kindly helped us figure out the EV charger behind the hotel. The lobby is clean and well air conditioned with new, comfortable furniture. Very clean bathrooms. I would stay here if I find myself back in the area.

We've stayed at this hotel several times since it opened, and we are never disappointed. This recent stay was at the end of a very stressful and complicated itinerary, with four hotels in six days across 11 states. I booked everything through a 3rd party app. (**pedia). Never again. Their website was having technical issues that resulted in booking this stay five times, all on the wrong dates. I was able to cancel three immediately. The fourth took the intervention of Customer Service. The fifth had already processed and was non-refundable. After numerous sessions online, getting nowhere, I called the Hotel. Abdul Rab, the General Manager, was incredibly sympathetic and explained the the 3rd-party booking left him few options, but he would see what he could do. Between Mr. Rab and the Assistant General Manager Dawn Richards, they managed to correct the booking dates. While they were working on that, I had gone ahead and booked the correct dates in a second transaction. They graciously canceled that and a refund is in process. I couldn't be happier with the level of care and service I experienced. The hotel itself is very modern, clean, and well-appointed. You won't find better at the price and it's very conveniently located as well. Thank you again, we will definitely be back in Zion Crossroads/Gordonsville VA in the near future, and there's no question that we will be staying at the Hampton Inn! - Norm

Everything was top-notch!

Adequate, but disappointing cheapskate practices Coffee was so watered down it was nearly clear. We were promised, and paid for, coffee -- 24x7 -- is it too much to ask for the coffee to actually have some coffee in it? Did the owner think we wouldn't notice? Breakfast offered fewer choices than expected at a Hampton, but overall was tolerable. "Orange Juice" was false advertising however -- "Pale Orange Liquid" is more accurate. As with watering down the coffee -- does the owner think we're so stupid that we won't notice or care how cheaply we're being treated as paying customers? The bathroom sink oddly had the hot water on the right, but then the even hotter water on the left. Delightfully thirst-quenching. How did that make it past the inspection? (The what?) How has it not been fixed by now? And having to put down a security deposit is just downright insulting. Never had that happen before at a hotel that wasn't in a war zone. I actually should have had the hotel give *me* a deposit -- in case they cheated me out of what I paid for. Note to the owner: if you're so bankrupt, greedy, or timid that you have to stoop to these levels to squeeze out an extra buck, maybe you ought not be in the hotel business -- which is after all a "service" business. Clean and quiet place to stay, yes, but at the fringes it's an insult to the Hampton brand.

Great breakfast with great seating area. Pool, gym, clean, what more can you ask for?

Nice room with comforting bed. Restaurant was excellent
