I was excited to try the restaurant at Los Poblanos and my husband suggested we add on a stay at this beautiful farm hotel. We found the room descriptions a bit bewildering (meem, farm or field?), so we called and a very knowledgable representative guided us to the best room for us -- a suite with king size bed and separate living room with sleeper sofa for our child. Our dinner at Campo was delicious as expected (with a surprisingly reasonable kids menu!), but the stay was the real surprise. The grounds were a joy to explore complete with peacock escort. My only regret is not booking two nights to experience the spa and classes here. This property absolutely deserves its two Michelin keys.

My wife and I stayed here on our road trip across New Mexico and this was one of our favourite places. Lovely hotel set on this farm we had the south room 1 initially and then the farm room 1 as we had to extend our stay following storm Raymond. Both rooms were excellent, spacious with a luxury feel. We had the breakfast every day and dined there two evenings. All the food was very good and the service throughout our stay was excellent. We particularly liked esprerenza who served us in the bar every night - great service. I used the gym every day which was reasonably well equipped We used the bikes to cycle along the Rio grande cycle path that’s worth doing All in all this is a lovely place to stay

How's this for a luxurious overnight accommodation, the fanciest outpost west of the Broadmoor? I googled to identify the top-rated hotel in Albuquerque, the first stop on my trip from Los Angeles to Chicago, and I was introduced to a two-star Michelin hotel and working organic farm that originally was inhabited by ancient Pueblo Indians in the 14th century and recently was rated a "top 10 hotel for food lovers in American" by Bon Appetit magazine. Located at 4803 Rio Grande Boulevard Northwest in Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, New Mexico, Los Poblanos Historic Inn is set among 25 acres if lavender fields, enormous cottonwood trees and lush formal gardens in Albuquerque's North Valley. Designed in 1932, Los Poblanos has 46 guest rooms in two architecturally beautiful buildings, the historic La Quinta with parquet walnut floors, hand carved ceilings, decorative Spanish tile, an elegant ballroom and monumental fireplace and the Hacienda with a Spanish courtyard, Moorish fountain, massive carved doors and kiva fireplace. No two rooms are alike. The hotel features a fitness center, in-room dining, shops, spa, bars, lounges and Campo, an award-winning restaurant that serves breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. I booked a Superior King Room with king-sized bed, sofa, work table and chair, two large lounge chairs, wet bar, cable TV, high speed wi-fi, safe, separate bath and access to the garden courtyard. So much luxury, so little time to enjoy it.

To celebrate our 66th birthdays in style, my lifelong friend of over 58 years and I chose Los Poblanos Inn in Albuquerque, New Mexico—perfectly situated on historic Route 66. We treated ourselves to the La Vida Generosa package, and from the moment we were picked up at the airport, we were truly treated like royalty. The package was all-inclusive, and everything was top-notch. Our room was clean, charming, and thoughtfully appointed with luxurious products made right there on the farm. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and every detail made it clear how much care goes into every guest’s experience. One of our biggest surprises was how much we loved the dining. Neither of us are very adventurous eaters, so we were a bit nervous about what might be served—but we agreed to be good sports and try everything. From the very first amuse-bouche—a single spoonful of cantaloupe with spicy crema—we were completely won over. Each bite that followed was better than the last, from our first delicious dinner to the exceptional brunches. But the true highlight of our stay was the Chef’s Table experience. We were invited to sit in the kitchen alongside the chefs, sous chefs, expediters, and the incredibly knowledgeable sommelier, Bryce, who guided us through every course and pairing. Every dish featured ingredients grown right on the farm, and nothing went to waste—from sunflower and dahlia petals to tomato leaves and rendered animal fats. Each course came with an introduction and a bit of history, turning every spoonful into a story. The fig ice cream for dessert was the perfect ending to a meal we’ll never forget. We are especially grateful to Head Chef Chris for making the Chef’s Table experience so extraordinary, and to Sous Chef Katie for generously sharing her deep knowledge and passion with us throughout the evening. Their warmth and talent elevated the experience beyond anything we expected. This visit gave us both a new appreciation for the art, intention, and effort behind truly great food. It was a once-in-a-lifetime culinary journey that we will never forget. Los Poblanos is more than a place to stay—it’s a place to be fully immersed in beauty, hospitality, and thoughtful living. We left feeling refreshed, inspired, and incredibly grateful for the memories we made there.

This place is a real treat. Nice room. Friendly staff. Beautiful surroundings. We stayed two nights, had two dinners and two breakfasts, all excellent (the eggs benedict was especially memorable), and enjoyed the outside lounging area. It's quite expensive but manages to seem like a good value. We even bought a ham and cheese sandwich on the way out and thought it was one of the best ever!

We're locals and needed a place to stay while our home was getting some work done on it. We stayed in a Family Suite with bunk rooms. The property is gorgeous, El Campo is great and so is the staff at El Campo. However, our experience with the front desk, the guest services, and house keeping was awful. On arrival there was no one to help with luggage (which we had a lot). We asked if we could extend our stay two nights and the gentleman said he was pretty sure he could move rooms around to make that happen (which he never did and we could never get an answer back). The bunk room was probably close to 90 degrees and all we were given was a small fan. I purchased a small AC the next day so my kids could actually sleep. During our stay the bathroom in the rooms were unusable for 1/2 do to a central line clogg (we didn't complain, unlike other guest who demanded discounts). One morning I called to schedule housekeeping in a window of time because I needed to be in the room in the afternoon. Guest services assured me it would be done in the timeframe requested. However, house keeping was actually in my room 3 hours after the time requested (i was unable to get ready for an appt). I spoke to guest services about it and she was extremely rude, argued with me, blamed me, and then dismissed me by saying you can't schedule house keeping after she told me to schedule it . It was bizarre. I've never been treated so poorly by hotel staff before. The house keeping was unreliable. Sometimes they wouldn't replace the towels, dirty pots were left from the previous guests, and they wouldn't wipe down any counter tops. They would either throw our clothes on the floor or the chair if they were on the bed and would leave them there after making the bed. To top it off - House keeping lost both of my kids lovies. They found one within a few hours of looking through their dirty laundry and the other mysterious showed up a day later on my kiddos bed. These lovies have been in at least 20 different hotels and 4 different hospitals and have never gone missing. There was no apologies or rectification from staff. My daughter cried for over an hour. It was awful. I was able to speak with a supervisor (but they refused to let me speak with the manager/director). I'm still waiting to hear from the director. It's been over two weeks. No rectifications has been made. I've called and guest services just dismisses me and says theres a note to the director. This is very sad how they treat people. I would be embarrassed as owners of this property. It ruined our whole week there. We used to love coming here.

We were a group of friends from Santa Fe that went down to Los Poblanos for brunch. We absolutely loved the grounds and the inn and spent time sitting in different areas to soak in the ambiance. However, the dining experience left a lot to be desired and we were disappointed. We were expecting fresh organic food nicely presented. However, the food was mediocre at best and not cheap. The service on my side of the table was fine. The other side of the table had problems with the server and plates were not cleared before dessert and coffee. My table mate got three very small tacos that looked more like an appetizer than a main dish. My potatoes with the eggs Benedict were overcooked. The food in general was similar to any nondescript restaurant. Then came the automatic 25% tip. That seemed like overreaching. My recommendation if you go is to walk the beautiful grounds, get a drink and sit at the many sitting areas and eat somewhere else. Also, skip the gift shop.

For total relaxation and pampering, Los Poblanos is at the top! Employees are all happy and proud to be part of this wonderful family! The rooms are spacious and comfortable! The Spa is complete bliss! The lavender products are home grown and not to be missed! Can’t wait to return!

This was an exceptional place to go for breakfast as we traveled from Albuquerque to Santa Fe. Absolutely beautiful grounds, delicious food and staff that went above and beyond. I spoke to one employee, Rebecca, when making our reservation and asked her for suggestions for our time in Santa Fe. Not only did she give me suggestions on the phone but when we arrived for breakfast she made a point of coming to our table to give me a list of additional suggestions she had researched for us. Wow. We also had a great interaction with the gardener Mrs Lovel-she took the time to speak with us about the work they do, the flowers they grow and some of the special plants at the farm. I wish we had been able to stay there but at least we got a meal and a small tase of this special spot.
