6 of us came to stay here, occupying 2 rooms. Upon checking in, we were please to find our request for ground floor rooms close together was fulfilled as 2 of the party having mobility issues. We were pleasantly surprised by the rooms having recently been updated but the lack of storage for clothing meant I ended up living out of my suitcase. We arrived fairly late on our first day and it was the beginning of the extreme heatwave of 44 degrees. I barely slept that night and went straight to reception the next morning to book some air con. Which cost €100 + €20 refundable deposit but my god it was worth every penny even though it wasn’t as cold as expected. The location of the hotel for us is perfect. You have everything you could need on your doorstep but the hotel itself including staff certainly need improvement. Our bedding was changed once in 12 nights and that was only because I found a cleaner and asked her to do it. If the towels weren’t on the floor they didn’t get changed. I was constantly having to stash toilet rolls as they leave the bare minimum. The shower really needs a good steam clean it was not clean at all. A few cockroaches in the room, one landed on my leg in the middle of the night. The final night without the aircon though and I woke up to around 5 of them crawling around. The sunbed situation is a bit annoying, but I would rather get up early and sit with them then have to get involved in the wacky races like some places. Some people would get up at 9 am and expect to have a bed, well that’s just silly. There was fighting at one point over the 11 am beds. The area around the pool was rotten. It looks like it gets cleaned but it does not. They mop around pushing the dirt with dirty mops and then push a machine around at night but still get up the next day to filth and especially on entry to the pool. The sunbeds never got cleaned once in the 12 days I was there. Often having crumbs on them from the previous days. This has the potential to be a really great place to stay because the location is perfect but the lack of cleanliness lets it down.

Looks good at first glance because of the large pool but dont let that fool you. Actually getting to enjoy it (and specifically lie at it on a lounger is something of a challenge). The loungers are all locked until 9am. (A few more are unlocked at 11). If you go down at 9am you have absolutely no chance of getting one as there are people standing around guarding them from 8am and earlier..... It's like a scene out of a zombie movie, where any movement by you in the direction of their stack of beds results in them all waking from their upright slumber. If you are lucky enough to secure a sunbed, you're not guaranteed to have it there when you come back from your lunch as the life guard will confiscate it and give it to someone else😡....... We had the audacity to take 50 minutes for our lunch and had ours taken away. I'm not sure how you're supposed to navigate that minefield, but in the end we decided to take it in turns having lunch with the kids so that there was someone with the loungers at all times. Not really a family friendly atmosphere. The rooms - whilst clean - are like ovens. This hotel has no air conditioning at all and the heat at bedtime is stifling. You have to leave your balcony doors open to have any movement of air. Unfortunately, the downside of this is the outside noise and hungry mosquitos who come in to feed. I have 5 more days left in this hotel, and I can't wait for it to be over. It's disappointing, as the pool is great and everywhere is clean, however with no air conditioning and the ridiculous wild west sun-lounger situation I would strongly recommend you look elsewhere. They say you get what you pay for, and whilst this isn't an expensive hotel, it isn't value for money either. My advice is to read the reviews closely before you book, and then pay a little extra and book somewhere better. I will certainly never be back!

It is a nice complex, clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Sun bed issue is bad as people selfishly get beds then leave for the day. On the whole tho a budget friendly complex.

Stayed here as a family of 3 in the middle of August with a heatwave some days which was 43° feels like 53°. Room had no air con just a noisy old fan that circulated warm air around the room. Despite emailing and calling the hotel 3 times prior to request a room with air con, was told it was "subject to availability" and surprise surprise when we checked in we had a room with no air con. Had been told over the phone air con units would be available which sounded a good second best but when we were there, were told it was outsourced and couldn't even get an estimated cost. Didn't fancy ending up with a huge bill so passed on that! Were lucky to be top floor with no one too close so could leave the patio doors open but made no difference, just noisy in the mornings as we were road side and ended up ravaged by mozzies. Keeping the doors closed didn't help either just made it hotter. Despite being self catering we couldn't imagine cooking in the room in that heat! Sunbed wars was a nightmare also, people sad enough to queue from 6am. Sod that I'm on holiday! Due to lack of sunbeds we either sat on the rock wall or dragged our chairs down from the room which we got fed up of so ended up going to the beach instead. Some staff not friendly, receptionist was abrupt checking in and lots complained about the pool lifeguard not allowing people to enjoy themselves but that did get better after a few days. Had to ask a few times for towels to get changed after 3/4 days as they started to smell damp but to be fair after that it was done daily. There were some positives.. the restaurant/bar was good with lovely staff although the bar was apparently nothing to do with the hotel. Shop was ok with friendly staff, they did lovely warm pastries - we loved the custard and chocolate slices. Location was ok, walkable to bar and restaurants and not too far from the beach. We had some lovely meals in restaurants nearby but overall not a fan of Tenerife. Would never return to the hotel and never return to the country by choice
