Hyatt Place Hotels in Los Angeles

My flight arrived just past mdnight and I stayed overnight at this hotel and moved to Torrance before noon to be closer to friends and family. I took the hotel shuttle from the airport, and the driver was very helpful. I noticed other shuttle drivers mainly waited in the driver's seat for you to board, but this driver helped me with my luggage at the airport, and at the hotel. The hotel had old-fashioned decor, but was otherwise comfortable. Wifi was good, but I only used it to check emails. The lobby had a nice work area to sit in while I waited for my friend to pick me up, but you can't be picked up from there. My friend drove around while I figured how to get to her, and ended up meeting at the driveway of the Marriott behind this Hyatt Place.

It's pretty good. Although there are only a few breakfast items, there are plenty of mixes and matches, but there are not enough seats. It is recommended to go there early to eat. It’s also convenient if you have a car, and it’s 30 US dollars a day over night. Just near the highway, it's convenient to go anywhere.

I booked a city view, but they assigned me a room with a fan? I changed the room right away, but I couldn't shake the feeling that the female staff member in charge was racist. It's not that there were no rooms, but it's ridiculous that they gave us a bad room that we didn't choose, which is an option that other people would avoid. I was sure of it when they never greeted us first as we were Asians as we walked around the lobby. It was the end of our trip and I was so tired, so I changed the room right away, but I regret not complaining strongly when I think of other Koreans who will come in the future. However, everyone except me was kind, and the room condition was good (the AC was bad). Breakfast was not bad. However, the sound of sports cars passing by at night was noisy. The area called Glendale itself was safe and comfortable.

I booked the hotel through Ctrip.com. The following is the booking and check-in process. There is no right or wrong, because I don't know much about the California hotel model: First, you need to prepay a room reservation fee of RMB 1,470 for online booking, and then the hotel charges an additional US$75 + breakfast fee of 12/person (later I reported to the platform that it can be refunded). At present, these two fees have not been refunded (I have checked out of the hotel for 4 days). Although the breakfast does not have many varieties, it is enough to enjoy, the hygiene is also good, and the environment is a very quiet neighborhood (this is really great). The parking fee is US$27/day, and pets are US$75 for the whole trip
