The rooms are praised for their style and comfort, with convenient access to amenities. Guests appreciate the friendly and speedy service, particularly the valet parking. Convenient location near dining and shopping areas.

Great boutique hotel. Super stylish rooms with very comfortable beds and windows that open (which I like). Big bathroom, with shampoo AND conditioner (I'm always shocked that so many hotels don't offer conditioner, knowing that practically every woman uses conditioner). The small rooftop pool had stylish furnishings and seemed to be a bit of a scene, though not obnoxiously so like some of the Santa Monica or BH hotels. Staff were all very nice and welcoming. The restaurant and bar are beautiful. EXCELLENT cocktails. I didn't try the food but it looked great coming out of the kitchen. The Silver Lake neighborhood seems gritty and artsy. There's an Intelligentsia coffee shop just around the corner from the hotel. I enjoyed a 20min drive to Griffith Park for a long hike one morning.

Staff is very nice and responsive. However, I wonder if the management has ever stayed at their hotel. Lots of annoying quirks. The coffee maker can only really make expresso. There was no cream in the basket, but you can get milk from the restaurant. Again everybody is very nice if you ask, but why am I asking. Literally every hotel and airbnb has a reasonable coffee maker. I don't want to get dressed to get coffee supplies. There were only 3 coffee pods in the basket and a few packs of sugar. There is no desk in the room. The chairs are comically low, so my knees are way up. Everybody just sits on the bed to use their computer. Maybe our room was a handicapped room. The rod in the closet was at about half height so all our dresses and my suit was dragging on the floor. Get a better solution. There were only a few hangers in the closet. Again very nice when was ask for more and they bring them quickly. But why should we be asking about this? Then the most comical. The shower is one of those trendy ones where there is no curtain or door and only half covered with tempered glass and nothing to actually dam the water from dribbling onto the floor. It was impossible to keep the water from running out of the shower. So the water ran out of the shower, made a right turn out the door and another right turn toward the hallway. I kid you not. There is an Erewhon grocery next door, so you can buy any fun thing you can think of there. That is a plus. There is no microwave oven. But they have a clothing steamer. That came in handy. The fridge is packed with mini-bar items, so we had to move those out to put our personal preferences into the fridge. We got charged for one item even though we did not use any of them, but they quickly took the charge off the bill. The parking charge is $38, actually reasonable these days. The valet is very responsive. No wait.
