Kimpton Hotel Wilshire

Great location for LACMA, Peterson automobile museum, the Grove and Farmers market. Spacious room. Nice rooftop area. Plenty of options to eat nearby also.

Decent location

- turn out no bath tub included (which is stated in the booking selection) - unclear instructions or information provided by staff, need to ask everything - good location, walkable distance to few good restaurants - free daily lyft ride is super helper to those who are not driving in town - good neighborhood (safe and quiet, but not too quiet, with traffic) - room is clean and bright

This hotel is in a convenient location and that’s the best thing about it. The noise level from the street was horrendous. We were on the 5th floor yet outdoor noise was so loud. (I have stayed in many city hotels and this has never happened). We had a room with a couch sleeper bed. This was the most uncomfortable thing ever. The mattress was paper thin, you could feel the bars and coils from the frame right through it. It sunk in the middle . Seriously that pullout matters should have been replaced years ago We were traveling with our older children who didn’t want to share a bed which is why we booked this room. I had come across a review that it was good for families which we did not feel that it was. The bathroom door is pocket doors that don’t even fully meet. Separate toilet also closes with a pocket door. All bathroom doors have frosted glass. The shower was all glass so zero privacy if someone needed to grab anything or use the toilet. Also one of the bed frame in the other room was broken and falling off. The pool area was nice although the pool closed at 5 every day which is ridiculous. There was a beautiful view of the city. (Can see the Hollywood sign in the distance)
