Whisky Hotel

Location was great with a view of the Hollywood Sign from level 7. Fridge needs to be requested and is subject to availability.

Very clean and loved the decor. loved the rooftop and the staff was amazing so friendly especially Fernanda and the server at breakfast made us feel so welcome. Everything is so close to hotel!

UPDATE: When I posted my original review, the room manager replied and requested I reach out to them to make things right. I have sent two emails to the manager directly and one directly to the main hotel email address with zero responses from either. So I have since taken a star away for the poor communication. I really wanted to like this hotel, but it seemed to be one thing after another that ruined our experience. The rooms are very beautiful, however, when we first got into the room we noticed a cupboard that said "fridge" and one that said "safe," but when we opened these there was no fridge and no safe. ! called down to the desk as these are things we thought would be in the room and they said they would locate them for us. We ended up getting them, which we appreciated. Next thing was when we were leaving for our dinner reservation, we noticed the main door to our room did NOT lock. Anyone could simply push the door open with a key card, so we did not leave for our reservation as we weren't comfortable with that. The front desk sent their handyman up, and he said it would take him 30 minutes to fix or they might have to switch us to a different room. I asked if we could switch now as we had to go and wouldn't be back till late, but he wasn't understanding that. Eventually my partner figured out the issue and we had to lift the door up in order for it to latch and be locked (same thing for the bathroom door) every single time we wanted to properly lock the door. This issue made us late to our dinner reservation. Another issue was the free wifi included, which did not work AT ALL. We used data the entire time because the wifi was horrible. The bathroom was gorgeous, however a garbage can would have been a nice touch! We did inform the front desk of the issue with the door and wifi upon our checkout and was told a supervisor would be in touch, but that never happened.

Nice place but in a TERRIBLE area in the airpit of Hollywood. Not great for female travelers. My friend and I felt very unsafe because there are lots of homeless and police activity. The rooms are small. No pool. Felt over priced for what it was. I did not expect it to be so seedy for that price.

If you want to talk about convenience and relaxation, this is the place. From great and quick valet service to a friendly greeting from the front desk and less than a 30-second trip to my room (2nd floor), there's nothing better you can ask for. Granted, the place just opened up, but that doesn't deter any of the facts of comfort, great aesthetic in the hallways, and delicious breakfast burritos that were whipped up on the rooftop with stunning views. You can't ask for anything better and everyone was friendly! The Whiskey Hotel does its job and they do it genuinely.
