It's great, and the owner is Chinese, making communication very easy. The location is also great for the price, not far from the tram station and downtown. The room was great, with free use of the kitchen and free luggage storage.

I was staying in at this place for Anime Expo being held at the Los Angeles Convention Center. I stayed 5 nights. I wanted to leave on the first. The room I stayed in had at least 4 cockroaches and 1 spider. The first night, I killed 2 of the roaches and the spider. I then proceeded to stay awake the rest of the night. I wasn't comfortable using the blanket or towels this place provided. One of the nights I came back, I opened the door to my room and hit the light, only to see a roach crawling into the cabinet in the room. Needless to say, I didn't use the cabinet the entire time I was there. That is just one of the rooms. I don't know what you'll find in the other rooms. Another thing is that the bathrooms and the kitchen are very very dirty. I wouldn't even use the microwave in there. And the bathrooms had what appeared to be black mold all over the shower. And there seemed to be a leak under one of the sinks, so if you used it for more than like 30 seconds, water would spill out onto the floor after pooling under the sink. The only upside is the location. It is literally right next to a school, so it feels a little bit safer than the surrounding areas. And its like 3 to 4 miles from the LA Convention Center, so getting there is pretty easy. I guess 60 bucks a night is also a very unbeatable price. If you've got a strong stomach, and need to save some money, then I guess this place will do. If you can afford to stay somewhere else though, you should. The owner was friendly enough, but it was a little difficult to communicate with him due to English not really being his first language. P.S. If you stay there and end up showering in the bigger shower, to make the water warm, you gotta set it to the middle, between the hot and cold settings on the shower handle thing.

Although the room is not big, it is on a high floor, you can cook, it is cozy, the transportation is convenient, and the cost performance is high... The boss is nice and the service is enthusiastic. We are unfamiliar with the place, and he can help us solve any problems we encounter. We will stay here again next time we come to Los Angeles...

(Supplementary note) I have been staying in hotels for decades, but this time I encountered something really strange and eye-opening: 1. The boss is from Nanjing, China. I wonder if he is an official or a businessman? 2. The boss hired a man and a woman, two online travelers, to manage the hotel on the condition of exempting the room fee. The woman is dark and ugly. She is obviously from a rural area in Guangdong. She is the kind of person who has the fate of a leader. She is more like a monitor than a waitress, but two foreign guests actually left under her nose. The man claimed to be an IT person, but he was full of 🔥 about Trump's expulsion of illegal immigrants, as if the United States should open its doors to let people in. 3. The washbasin in the bathroom shower room is very dirty and basically not cleaned. 4. The boss's friend in his fifties or sixties who lives alone in a room is relatively kind. This is the only bright spot. The two young people had an argument with him

The plane arrived in the morning, and the owner was very friendly and let me check in early. I would like to express my gratitude here🙏 Hotels in Los Angeles are very expensive, and the price of this B&B is reasonable. If you originally planned to stay in a youth hostel, you can consider choosing this. It is worth recommending!
