Upon check-in, I was not made aware that there was construction going on within the hotel. It appeared that the construction was being held on the floor that I was assigned to, and my room appeared to be very close or in proximity to the construction as it was extremely loud beginning at 6 AM. The walls of the hotel also appeared to be very thin as I can hear the constant movement of staff and rolling cart from what could have possibly been the housekeeping staff. Although all staff appeared to be very friendly, not being made aware of the construction as well as not being placed in an appropriate location of the hotel, made my stay not worth the price. I also had to clean the restroom on my own to avoid any issues as there were hairs on the toilet and in the bathtub.
The people at the hotel are very sweet and accommodating but they need to do better when cleaning hotel rooms…the sink smelled like sewer water. I thought it’s just one night but every time we turned it on it was a strong odor. I felt gross even washing my hands, let alone brushing my teeth. The drain should be cleaned at hotels. The vents were full of dirt. I had my baby and it just disappointed me more than anything..it felt dirty. It was too late to switch or do anything. Please do better for the health of others.
Great experience staying at Hilton Universal City.
Less than 10mins walking distance to Universal studio, though there is shuttle bus as well.
Breakfast was good and cafe dinner is good too.
However, they charged a big sum USD20 to microwave food. 😒. It really surprise me, but guess they discourage self pack food, but to get room guests to dine in cafe.
Feel safe and good for family vacation stay.
Other than this unexpected encounter, overall is good.

The hotel is located in the wealthy area of Los Angeles.
Facilities: It is a bit old, but it is indeed very classic
Hygiene: Clean. Although the floor of the hotel is old, it is very clean
Environment: Very quiet. Winter may be the off-season. There are few people
Service: Breakfast cost us nearly 1,200 RMB per day, but the restaurant is very beautiful and worth it. There is only valet parking, and the fee is high
The hotel was clean, and the exterior was nice with a pool and a courtyard.
I liked the easy access from the airport, about 15 minutes by car, but to get to the nearby mall, I had to go under an overpass on a deserted highway, so I avoided walking there at night.
The spacious room and the bathroom with a large mirror were nice, but it was disappointing that there were not enough towels for everyone.
I wanted hot water, but the hot water dispenser of the electric kettle was made of plastic, and it was designed only for making coffee, so the hot water splashed around a lot and looked cheap.
Also, if I were to be greedy, it would have been better if they had disposable slippers.
The breakfast buffet was too small, which was disappointing.
There was a wide variety of bread, milk, and fruit, but no soup.
The only side dishes available were scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, and potatoes.
However, the side dishes and coffee tasted good.
Hotel was located in the CBD area , quiet and safe. Would need a car to drive out to places of interest . Room was clean and spacious expect there was no bathroom slippers provided which is quite unusual for a 5 star hotel .
Otherwise it was a good experience staying there , would recommend !

It's a 10-minute walk to Santa Monica Beach. But there's a lot of homelessness on the road. I can't get around late at night.
The hotel staff is very good. The man wearing glasses is a little cynical when checking in.
The room I reserved was the smallest and the lighting was very dark. Keep that in mind.
Hilton Woodland Hills was a good location for me to take my family for a visit to the west side of Los Angeles and within 30 min of cultural spots like the Getty Villa, Center, and Griffith Observatory.
The design of the lobby and rooms were contemporary and bright.
The breakfast was a bit disappointing as there was quite limited range offered, barely any vegetables or salad, and sausages that were clearly reheated from days before to the point of being inedible.
The hotel has been renovated and feels relatively new. It is more than a kilometer walk from the beach and commercial street. The rooms are spacious and there are free drinks and refreshments on the first floor.

GGuest UserThe service attitude of the hotel front desk and the receptionist at the door was very good. They were warm and attentive when consulting about outings. The environmental sanitation facilities were also good. I will come again next time!
