I really loooove this hotel. I wrote this review in 2023. :-) Robby and room look like movie cinema. They have a concept. It was not very newest style but gave me good feeling. Above all, Room condition is so good, very clean and Service is good. Best location for Universal Studio Hollywood. Definitely It takes 20 minutes to walk to Universal Studio. I really want to stay in there again.. Miss already this room.

Bluestem Hotel Torrance Los Angeles, Ascend Hotel Collection

I booked this hotel a few years ago, but was unable to travel due to the pandemic. A few days ago I drove from Palm Springs to San Diego and had the idea of staying at the hotel just to see what I had missed. And what should I say? It's really rare to experience a hotel like this. Everything perfectly organized, everything is in its place, beautiful room, very clean, extremely tidy. Next time I'm in the area (live in Europe) I will definitely book this hotel, I can't think of anything better. I'm sorry it was just one night. Thank you very much and greetings from Germany!
Avenue Hotel, Ascend Hotel Collection

Hollywood
Avenue hotel right next to Vermont Beverly Station, very convenient. Booked king bed on the third floor. New room, very clean. Bathroom is clean. Bed is in good condition, pillows can be a bit lumpy. No breakfast due to covid. Parking is $15 a night which is a must and great option. At night there's homeless sleeping in the area. Downside i asked for room cleaning and put the maid service sign on the door but no one came. Asked again the next day and finally they did. Requested fresh towels, get from reception. Overall great value!
