Hacienda Los Algodones

Nice place Nice staff. Beautiful patio. No hot water at night. Howling cats in the middle of the night woke us up. Very nice but could have been better. A little hard to find.

Sanidental had not made the reservation I requested. When I checked in, I asked for a ground floor room which I did not get. Clerk said not all the TVs have cable and only get a few stations but there are English ones. My TV did not get ANY service and it was determined by staff that it was because it wasn't a smart TV. When the security guy started to lead me up the stairs, I said NO. (no elevator) It took another 30 mins to get a ground floor room which had no more security than a bedroom door type handle. Not even a chain. One cheerful fellow handled all 6 tables in the restaurant, but there is not a bar. At least there are possible places for one, but not actually in service when I was there in Aug. The waiter would go into the kitchen area to make the alcoholic drinks. The bed was so hard that I had to sleep on the other pillow, and I regretted not bringing earplugs due to neighbors, the A/C, and the maids in the morning. There aren't any glasses in the room so get your Styrofoam cup in the restaurant. Please do not try to walk to this place for your first time there as it is tucked away at the end of a dirt road that you'd never guess was a street and most of the streets don't have street signs. My GPS said it was a 3 min. walk from Sanidental but I finally accepted a ride after wandering around for half an hour. The courtyard is lovely, my margarita was great, and my dinner was good and reasonably priced.

Staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are beautifully decorated, as well as throughout the hotel. I would have given a higher rating; had I received breakfast food that was pleasant. I would recommend should want to stay at this beautiful and very reasonably priced hotel; very accommodating and friendly staff, find somewhere else to eat breakfast. Ex: Omelet, had vegetables in it that looked like they were placed in the middle of the omelet with moisture, like water. The cheese was in the center only. The cheese was not melted. It was a ball of cheese that stuck to my fork. The whole omelet was cold an flavorless. I give this breakfast and another breakfast I had another day, a zero rating. I thought oatmeal would be safe. You could have drank the oatmeal through a straw.

Always comfortable That’s the best Hotel that we’ve been to in years, it has also 5star awesome rest are all I get as 5star restaurant, 5star margaritas awesome pool We met the owner 1st Day I think she is a saint; she helps everyone, I mean everyone. This place has the happiest employees I’ve seen in along time. We have been to lots of very expensive hotels over the years, seen unhappy workers Hilton Marriot, Biltmore. There’s no comparison to this this Little Quaint old-world hotel 10 stars easy "Rooms are clean, comfortable beds Great customer service, excellent breakfast" "The people that work there are some of the nicest I have ever encountered." machaca breakfast was excellent
