The hotel is located in a stunning area — surrounded by nature, with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. We really enjoyed the grounds: there’s a vineyard, a lovely (though cold) pool, a tennis court, and plenty of relaxing spaces. The property itself is definitely a highlight. One thing we especially appreciated was the bedding — the pillows, duvets, and mattress were absolutely perfect. However, we felt the value for money wasn’t quite there. The à la carte dinner and bar were overpriced. The massage we tried in SPA didn’t feel worth it either. The main pool looked great but was always ice-cold — we hardly saw anyone swimming. It’s a shame, as it could have been such a nice spot to enjoy. There were also some small issues with service. For example, our restaurant booking wasn’t passed on by the manager, so there was confusion when we arrived (though we were eventually seated). Also, room doors had poor soundproofing — noise from the hallway was quite loud. Finally, we only found out about the hotel’s activity schedule when we were checking out — no one told us at check-in, so we missed it completely. Overall, it’s a beautiful place with great potential, incredibly comfortable beds, and relaxing surroundings — but the experience didn’t fully match the high price for restaurant and service.
