Let me start by saying this Hotel is in a perfect location near the Malecon and close to the plaza. If you are looking for a relaxing time Loreto is the Place it’s a fishing town with great locals. The attention by the staff is amazing Angelica made sure to get us on the Coronado Island tour. The bartender Daniel he made us comfortable and gave some great suggestions.

I have a business in Baja and visit Loreto often with guests and family. This is my favorite hotel in all of Baja. I think it is better than even the super high priced resorts in Cabo. The architecture is great, pool is perfect, and the Staff shines the brightest of all. The restaurant is amazing, rooms are comfy and clean. All around top marks! Getting a pizza at the pool bar is my favorite!

Food and Bar Service Excellent. The rooms sparkling clean fresh newer linens, housekeeping (Patty) very responsive and accommodating to our individual needs! Staff around the pool wonderful seeing to all our needs. What a fantastic vacation hotel. Our new favorite

Angelica our concierge and staff was amazing. She handled all of our reservations, activities and even had my eye glasses fixed. We spent 3 days on the water. Whales, dolphins, rays, sails, rooster fish, snorkeling. Simply amazing. Do yourself a favor and schedule a full spa treatment for your last day. You won’t regret it. Los Olivos restaurant delicious and the live entertainment was very enjoyable. The pool bar staff kept the drinks coming! Don’t miss out!

Absolute epic way to end our week trip to Loreto. The elegant, clean, and welcoming environment of the staff was by far more than I expected. Our room had the most incredible sunrise where we could step out on the balcony and truly be sun kissed. The food was outstanding both for dinner and breakfast. Great anniversary getaway.

We looked at several hotels and Airbnbs before landing on this hotel and we are so glad did! We had an ocean view room (highly recommend!) and watched the sunrise every morning. The pool is beautiful. Location was central to the beach, pier, shops, and restaurants. The food in their restaurants were so delicious. More importantly, the service is top notch. Augustin, our concierge, along with everyone at the front desk, in Los Olivos restaurant (delicious breakfasts), Mezquite by the pool (great pizza and mango daiquiri), and the Starbucks in the lobby, were so friendly and helpful. We would stay again in our next visit!

I realize this is small town Mexico and things are catching up with the rest of the world. However, if you are going to charge comparable rates to other cities in Baja Mexico you need to up your game. I’d rank this hotel with a Hampton Inn, in the states. The pool area is nice but limited to 18 chairs. The rooms are dark and need attention. There are smashed mosquitoes on the walls along with other mysterious stains. The bed is pretty hard but is a plush cloud compared to LaPaz. The pillows are awful. Linens are course. The AC works well but it needs to be kept “on” and not in auto to keep the temp constant through the night. We will be back in town in January but will seek other options. On a bright note: the pizzas are off the hook for $20.

We spent six nights at the La Mision in Loreto and had a great experience from start to finish. We were upgraded to an ocean view room upon arrival which was a nice start to our trip. The room was very clean with a nice balcony area overlooking the ocean. We enjoyed lounging by the pool on a daily basis which really made for relaxing afternoons. The hotel is located close to the downtown area making it an easy walk to check out the shops and restaurants in town. What was particularly great about La Mision was the entire working staff – everyone could not have been more friendly and accommodating and helped us with any questions that came up during our stay. We booked an excursion out to Coronado Island through the hotel which was a great trip in itself and was quickly assisted by the concierge staff. We heartily recommend the Los Olivos Restaurant within the hotel for great meals as well. A great time staying at La Mision and we would definitely stay there again.
