This is the second time we have been here. The hotel is excellent. The breakfast is good and the staff are excellent. However I would point out that the air conditioning in the bedrooms is terrible, it can’t be adjusted yourself, only by contacting reception even after we complained about the heat in the room ( a constant 29c ) it made no difference. It’s such a shame that a 4 star hotel is let down by this. The public areas have great AC, so please get the rooms sorted out. We would love to come back again, but only if we can have a cooler bedroom.

We are family of 4 from Lithuania, booked 2 rooms (Imperial and Premium) in the hotel, 5th floor. The hotel was pricy, but still exceeded our expectations of quality and aesthetics in multitude of ways. It had magnificent sea, horizon, old town views, beautiful, modern, light, glass-based room design, high class restaurant quality food. It was the highlight point of our trip to Croatia. Many thanks for the hotel owners and staff!

Lafodia is a really nice hotel with some minor tweaks needed, but overall a great stay and I would recommend it. The room was spacious and as advertised, however, I would suggest they need to fix some of the issues around the knobs falling off the shower, the faucet from the sink was unhinged from the porcelain, and it was impossible to figure out how to work the A/C (but it did work). The breakfast buffett was great, and had enough variety for most anyone. Staff was very friendly and went out of their way to help at times. There was a large group from the U.S. as has been mentioned in the reviews before; they go by SURF-YOGA-BEER. They are generally a rowdier crowd than normal and they do workouts and parties at night; but overall I found them to be quite nice and funny at times. I asked one of them, and it seems like they come once a year, so if this is not something you think you could handle, I suggest you book another week during the year. Overall enjoyed Lafodia a great deal; friendly staff, great location, comfortable rooms. Just some minor issues regarding the room, but really enjoyed the amenities (spa was great!) and the pool area as well.

The Lafodia was the best hotel for many of us who came to Lopud for the fantastic annual Ponta Lopud Jazz Festival. The rooms are spacious, the beach gorgeous, and the infinity pool has an incredible view of the bay. Highly recommended.we enjoyed it thoroughly

Have found the hotel staff somewhat deflated in their mood towards customers. The hotel doesn’t even have a shop to purchase water and it is not supplied in your rooms either which for 4* hotel in a premium room I would have thought would be standard.

Beautiful island with no cars. Ideal To relax for a few days. Hotel lovely. The facilities were great. Private beach perfect. Rooms well appointed - could do with more mirrors! The spa was gorgeous and we had excellent massages. The breakfast was average. Quality of the food was only ok and the endless queue for coffee at the machines in the morning was really frustrating- Please get more machines! Otherwise lovely and highly recommend

This is not our first time staying with Lafodia, we have chosen them for our Lopud holiday many times. This was the 1st time we stayed in their luxury Lazure complex, built like a ship besides the hotel with two separate bedrooms, bathrooms and a very spacious terrace with the most incredible views of the Lopud bay. Room- mattresses are fantastic and so are the pillows, room is well equipped (though I’d love to see an espresso machine in the future 🙏🏼) , spacious and comfortable. Toiletries very nice. Breakfast is fantastic- very friendly staff, always a full buffet and really good choice of dishes. Get here early for a lovely shaded terrace table or enjoy lovely air-conditioned indoor area :) Beach is my fav on the island- tiny pebbles (Lopud is known for their sandy beaches but I prefer pebbles), lovely and very comfy sunbeds, cocktail beach bar and great restaurant La Baja. Burgers are best on the island, I guarantee you that! All in all, a great stay as always and we will be back!
