The main accommodation was lovely, couldnt fault it at all. On the other hand the annexe was a disappointment from the get go, with multiple issues that were not resolved during our stay, despite our best efforts. Sadly the response to the problems was '

This is a plea to the owner from a local and member of the gym here for 18 months. I don't expect it to be listened to but here goes anyway. REPLACE YOUR RUNNING MACHINES They are ancient and dangerous. On the rare occasions they don't have an out of order sign sellotaped to them, they stop dead when you are running. This is extremely dangerous. I am not a litigious person, which is extremely lucky for the owner as on my last visit in March this happened and gave me a sore neck for weeks. You lost two members for not doing anything about those running machines. We hope to rejoin this winter but (and I am not in the least surprised) you still haven't replaced them and a current member told me they still stop suddenly and are still dangerous. Please replace these machines. You will get back members and new members will join. You could even put the membership up. There are plenty of affluent people in Looe who would pay moee for a gym with modern kit. Here's hoping but I won't hold my breath
